The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact that resilience affects the academic stress to the art major students, and the mediating role that academic motivation and self-awareness level will play. Taking 1,000 students majoring in fine arts as the research object, first of all, to analyze their resilience, academic stress, academic motivation, self-awareness level, then Questionnaire survey by using APPs such as “Wechat Mini Program” and "Questionnaire Star". After that, "resilience" was used as the explanatory variable, "academic stress of art majors’ as the explanatory variable, "academic motivation", "self-awareness level" as the mediator variable, and "academic stress" as the explanatory variable. The empirical model was constructed with "resilience" as the explanatory variable, "academic motivation" and "self-awareness level" as the mediator variable, and the data obtained from the questionnaire survey were analyzed by using analytical software to conduct descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and validation analysis of the mediator variable, and so on. Afterwards, based on the calculation results, we explore the current problems in the coordination between the mental resilience of college art majors and their academic stress, as well as the mediating effects of college art majors' academic motivation and self-awareness level, to provide realistic reflections for the latter research and summarize the recommendations. First, The overall distribution of the sample is relatively even, with little variability. Second, The Cronbach's alpha and KMO values for each scale were higher than .7, with reliable reliability and good structure. Third, There are significant gender and grade differences in resilience, academic stress, academic motivation, and self-awareness levels among art majors。 Forth, resilience, academic motivation, and self-awareness levels of art majors are all negatively correlated with academic stress. Fifth, The results of regression analysis show that the resilienceof art majors will have a negative impact on their academic stress. Academic motivation, self-awareness level has an intermediary role between the two; overall, it shows that the higher the level of resilience of art majors, the stronger the academic motivation, and the better the level of self-awareness is, the lower stress they feel in their studies. Colleges and universities should pay more attention to cultivating art major students' resilience, guiding art major students to form good academic motivation, and strengthening art major students' self-awareness to relieve art major students' academic stress. Key words: College Art Major Students, Resilience, Academic Stress, Academic Motivation, Self-awareness Level.
