After the Corona Virus Disease(COVID-19) pandemic, the Korean Ministry of Education recommended education environments from traditional Offline Classes to Online Classes as part of its social distancing policies. As a result, a fully online master's degree program was initiated in 2022 that involve advanced academic research, which requires further discussion. So, this study is considered representative of all degree programs and online learning. This study is to investigate class format(online, offline), gender, age group, major relevance, occupation, learning satisfaction, and learning achievement based on responses from 32 Online and 35 Offline Class participants, all graduate students with similar majors at Y University. Descriptive Statistics, Frequency Analysis, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin(KMO), Bartlett’s test, Chi-square test, t-test, Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were conducted using the SPSS statistical program. First, Online and Offline Classes did not have a significant difference on Achievement and Learning Satisfaction. Second, 20s and 30s students showed a high preference for offline Classes. In contrast, Online Classes were highly preferred by 40s and 50s students. Third, there were no significant differences in learning Satisfaction according to class format(online, offline), gender, age group, major relevance and occupation. Fourth, there were no significant differences in learning Achievement according to class format(online, offline), gender, age group, major relevance and occupation. Fifth, Learning Achievement correlated with Learning Satisfaction. In a conclusion, class format(online, offline) made no significant difference in graduate students’ Learning Satisfaction and achievement. I hope that this study will help as a foundation for expanding new online approaches beyond education.
