북한 체제의 주체사상에 대한 기독교적 접촉점에 관한 연구 : 배타주의에 인접한 성취 신학을 중심으로 = A Study on the Christian Contact Points for the Juche Ideology of the North Korean System : Centered on the Fulfillment Theology Adjacent to Exclusivism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 배타주의에 인접한 성취 신학의 관점으로 북한 체제와 주체사상에서 기독교적 복음의 접촉점을 찾아 북한 주민에게 적용하는 방안을 제시하는 연구이다.
연구는 땅 끝까지 복음을 전해야 하는 사명을 가지고 있는 기독교 입장에서 “북한 주민에게 복음을 전할 때 복음의 접촉점은 있는가?” 라는 질문에서 출발한다. 이 질문의 답을 찾기 위해서는 북한 주민을 올바로 이해해야 하는데, 연구자는 그들의 삶과 가치관, 그리고 생활 양태에까지 북한 체제의 주체사상이 지배하고 있다고 보았다. 북한 체제가 세워진 이후 북한 주민들이 주체사상을 배웠든, 배우지 않았든 주체사상은 이제 북한 주민들에게 마음의 습속이 되었기 때문이다.
또한 북한 주민의 삶과 생활양식에 주체사상이 대체 종교적 형식과 초월적 신앙으로 내재화되어 있으며, 특히 기독교와 상당히 유사한 종교 양식을 가지고 있음을 발견하였다.
따라서 본 연구의 구성은 이러한 맥락 안에서 1장 서론으로 연구 배경 및 목적을 밝히고, 연구의 용어에 대하여 정의 한다. 2장에서는 선행연구 및 성취 신학의 신학적 배경을 연구한다. 선행 분석 연구와 더불어 접촉점을 찾는 신학의 틀로 성취 신학의 신학적 배경과 성취 신학의 개념, 접촉점(point of contact), 성취 신학의 역할, 배타주의에 가까운 성취 신학의 특성을 고찰하였다.
3장에서는 북한 체제와 주체사상에 대한 종교성 연구를 위하여 북한 체제의 특징인 유일지배체제로서의 수령, 유일사상으로서의 주체사상, 유일당으로서의 조선로동당을 연구한다. 주체사상의 종교화 과정으로는 사상에서 종교화로의 진화, 종교적 신앙의 출현, 주체종교로의 발전을 연구한다. 북한 체제의 주체사상에 존재하는 종교적 특징으로는 교리 및 신념과 종교 의식 및 법전을 고찰하였다. 주체사상에 대한 종교성을 연구하는 목적은 주체사상에 대해 배타주의에 가까운 성취 신학 관점에서 접촉점을 찾는 연구를 위해서 주체사상에 종교성이 있다는 것을 밝히는 것이 필요하기 때문이다.
4장에서는 북한 체제의 주체사상에 대한 기독교적 접촉점을 제시하기 위하여 앞 장에서 살펴 본 교리와 신념으로 수령숭배, 인간, 영생에 대하여 살펴보고 종교의식 및 법전으로 모임과 10대 원칙, 김일성동지혁명사상실을 중심으로 연구 고찰하며 접촉점을 제시하였다.
5장에서는 북한 체제의 주체사상에서 찾은 기독교적 복음의 접촉점을 북한 주민에게 적용할 때 성취 신학의 관점으로 기독교적 접촉점 적용 방안을 제시하며 연구한다. 본 장에서 접촉점을 적용할 때, 준비 단계와 적용 단계로 구분하여 연구한다.
6장은 결론으로서 본 논문에서 다루어진 핵심 내용들과 학문적 기여 내용을 요약하고 본 논문과 관련하여 향후 발전시켜야 할 연구 과제와 방향을 제시하였다.
본 논문의 학술적 기여는 세 가지로 요약된다.
첫째, 본 논문은 북한 체제와 주체사상에 있는 종교 형식에서 기독교 신학적 교리와 사회 심리적 관점을 접목하여 기독교적 복음의 접촉점을 찾고 제시하는 연구로는 처음으로 문을 열었다는 점에 의의가 있다.
둘째, 북한 체제의 주체사상을 배타주의에 인접한 성취 신학의 관점에서 연구한 결과 북한 체제의 주체사상은 하나님께서 마지막 때에 북한 주민을 구원하시기 위해 접촉점으로 준비하신 선한 요소(good elements)임을 논증하고, 그 접촉점을 통하여 북한 주민에게 복음을 적용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 북한 체제의 주체사상에 대하여 기독교적 특성을 밝힌 연구들이 이미 다수 있으므로 접촉점을 찾는 연구 역시 그 궤를 같이할 것이라는 추론은 쉽게 할 수 있지만, 본 연구는 구체적인 접촉점을 찾는데 그치지 않고 적용의 과정까지 밝혔다.
셋째, 기독교가 북한 체제의 주체사상에서 관심을 가져야 할 대상은 북한 사회에 있는 종교적 형식이나 의식적인 삶 속에서 한 번에 바꿀 수 있다고 생각하는 주체사상이 아니라, 그 가운데 살아가고 있으며 여전히 하나님의 구원과 사랑의 대상인 북한 주민임을 분명히 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
이러한 배타주의에 인접한 성취 신학의 관점은 북한 체제의 주체사상에 대한 기독교적 복음의 접촉점을 찾는데 방향과 동기를 제공하여 추가적으로 더 많은 연구의 길을 여는데 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis is a study to find the point of contact between the Christian gospel in the North Korean system and the Juche ideology from the perspective of achievement theology close to exclusivism and to propose a method to apply it to the North Korean people.
The study, from the point of view of Christianity, which has a mission to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, asks, “Is there a point of contact with the gospel when preaching the gospel to the North Korean people?” It starts with the question In order to find the answer to this question, it is necessary to properly understand North Koreans, and the researcher believes that the Juche ideology of the North Korean system dominates their lives, values, and lifestyles. After the establishment of the North Korean system, whether or not the North Koreans have learned the Juche ideology, the Juche ideology has now become a habit in the hearts of the North Koreans.
In addition, it was found that the Juche idea was internalized as an alternative religious form and transcendental belief in the lives and lifestyles of North Koreans, and in particular, it had a religious style quite similar to Christianity.
Therefore, in the context of this study, Chapter 1 introduces the background and purpose of the study and defines the terms of the study. Chapter 2 examines the theological background of previous studies and achievement theology. The theological background of achievement theology, the concept of achievement theology, the point of contact, the role of achievement theology, and characteristics of achievement theology close to exclusivity were considered as a theological framework for finding a point of contact along with the previous analysis studies.
In Chapter 3, for the study of the religious nature of the North Korean system and the Juche ideology, the characteristics of the North Korean system, the leader as a monolithic system, the Juche ideology as a monolithic ideology, and the Workers' Party of Korea as the only party are studied. In the process of religiousization of the Juche ideology, the evolution from ideology to religiousization, the emergence of religious faith, and the development of the Juche religion are studied. As the religious characteristics of the Juche ideology of the North Korean system, doctrines and beliefs, religious ceremonies, and laws were considered. The purpose of studying the religiosity of the Juche ideology is because it is necessary to reveal that there is religiosity in the Juche ideology in order to find a point of contact from the point of view of achievement theology close to exclusivism.
In Chapter 4, in order to present a Christian point of contact with the Juche ideology of the North Korean system, the doctrines and beliefs examined in the previous chapter will examine the worship of the leader, human beings, and eternal life. Centering on the Revolutionary Thought Room, research and consideration were made and points of contact were suggested.
In Chapter 5, when applying the point of contact of the Christian gospel found in the Juche ideology of the North Korean system to the North Korean people, from the point of view of the theology of fulfillment, the method of applying the Christian point of contact is presented and studied. When applying the point of contact in this chapter, the study is divided into the preparation stage and the application stage.
Chapter 6, as a conclusion, summarizes the key contents and academic contributions covered in this thesis, and presents research tasks and directions to be developed in relation to this thesis.
The academic contribution of this paper is summarized in three points.
First, this thesis is meaningful in that it is the first study to find and present the contact points of the Christian gospel by combining Christian theological doctrine and socio-psychological perspective in the religious form in the North Korean system and Juche ideology.
Second, as a result of studying the Juche ideology of the North Korean system from the point of view of achievement theology close to exclusivism, it is argued that the Juche ideology of the North Korean system is good elements that God has prepared as a point of contact to save the North Korean people in the last days. A method of applying the gospel to the North Korean people through contact points was presented. Since there have already been many studies that have revealed the Christian characteristics of the Juche ideology of the North Korean system, it is easy to infer that the study to find the point of contact will also follow the same path.
Third, the object that Christianity should pay attention to in the Juche ideology of the North Korean system is not the Juche ideology, which believes that it can be changed at once in the religious form or conscious life of North Korean society, but is living in it and is still living in the midst of God's salvation and salvation. It is meaningful in that it clearly presented North Koreans as the object of love.
The perspective of achievement theology adjacent to this exclusivism can play an important role in opening the way for further research by providing direction and motivation to find the contact point of the Christian gospel with the Juche idea of ​​the North Korean system.
