Assessing Determinants of Food Security among Rice Smallholder Farmers in Tanzania: The case of Stability issue in Kilosa District of Morogoro Region = 탄자니아의 쌀 소작농들의 식량 안보 결정요인 평가 : 모로고로 지방 킬로사 구 사례 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이번 연구는 킬로사지구에서 수집된 데이터를 분석해 식량안전에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가했다. 킬로사 지구는 농촌 인구로 구성되어 있으며 주민들 중 상당수가 농업과 농업 관련 활동에 의존하고 있다. 이번 연구 분야는 농업에 의존하는 농촌 인구의 대다수가 식량불안 문제로 큰 영향을 받고 있다는 연구결과가 많아 선정됐다.
그 목표를 달성하기 위해, 그 연구는 1차 및 2차 데이터를 사용했다. 1차 자료에는 킬로사지구 쌀소작농가에서 무작위로 수집한 총 224건의 자료가 분석됐다. 또한 이 연구는 탄자니아 국가통계국(NBS)에서 소싱된 2차 데이터와 연구와 관련된 관련 논문도 분석했다.
이 연구는 사회경제적 특성과 로지스틱 회귀 모델을 확립하기 위해 기술통계를 채택하여 연구 영역의 쌀 소작농(가구)에게 식량 안보에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가하였다. 이번 조사결과, 쌀소작농의 저장시설 접근성, 관개이용, 벼 재배면적, 세대규모, 수확 후 손실 등이 식량안전에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 킬로사지구의 식량안전을 위해 정부가 농업인의 수확물을 저장하고 가족계획에 대한 국민의 인식을 높여 부양적이고 지속가능한 가구규모를 조성해야 한다는 것을 의미한다.
