미디어교육 통합 아카이브 구축 및 운영에 대한 연구 : 미디어교육 거버넌스를 위한 과정으로서의 아카이브 구축을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 '과정으로서의 아카이브' 측면에서 미디어교육 통합 아카이브 구축 및 운영 방안을 제안한다.
정보통신기술 발달 및 미디어환경 변화에 대응해 미디어교육의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 그러나 한국의 경우 정부부처와 공공기관, 지자체, 시민사회 등 다양한 주체들이 미디어교육에 참여하면서도 정책적 합의나 협업 등이 이뤄지지 못한 채로 제각기 사업을 펼치고 있다. 특히 생산되는 다양한 기록물과 교육 콘텐츠 등이 체계적으로 관리되지 못함에 따라 그것을 통합하는 미디어교육 아카이브에 대한 필요성이 꾸준히 제기돼 왔다.
부처나 공공기관을 제외하고도 전국 각지의 영상미디어센터에 기록물이 산재해 있는 상황에서 현실적인 통합 아카이브는 각 주체들을 연결해 논리적으로 통합하는 디지털 아카이브로 귀결된다. 구축 과정에서 각 주체들의 지속적인 소통과 협업이 요구되기에 미디어교육 통합 아카이브는 기록물에 대한 접근성과 활용성 제고라는 본래의 목적 외에도 미디어교육을 체계화하고 다양한 주체들의 협업과 참여를 강화하는 거버넌스적 실천이 될 수 있다.
교육 콘텐츠 공유에 대한 인식을 바탕으로 각 주체들이 참여하는 협업의 틀을 활용, 단계적으로 통합 아카이브를 구축하는 접근이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Media education is an education that teaches knowledge and competencies for access, use, and production of media in response to the development of information and communication technology and changes in the media environment. In the case of Korea, however, various agencies such as government departments, public institutions, media centers, and civil society are carrying out separate projects without achieving policy agreement or collaboration on media education. It is a situation in which the resources and efforts to be put in are not sufficiently effective.
In particular, as the various records and educational contents produced are not systematically managed, the need for a media education archive that continuously integrates them has been raised. In order to build an integrated archive, continuous communication and collaboration of each actor is required, so the media education archive will be a governance practice to organize media education and strengthen collaboration and participation of various actors in addition to the original purpose of enhancing accessibility and usability of records.
To this end, I will analyze the conditions related to media education, the characteristics of records and contents, and construct an integrated archive construction and operation plan.
