교회 구성원의 기록 기증 활성화를 위한 공공역사 도입 방안 : 영락교회 역사자료실의 평신도 기록을 중심으로

A church is a community of believers who are all equal before God. However, this study starts with the fact that the church archive does not preserve and collect the laity record reflecting the Church history.
The purpose of this paper is to clarify that the church archive does not reflect the history of the church community through the public history theory, and to explain the importance of the laity in the church archive. Through storytelling and Perth's semiotics, we tried to make the laity interested in Church archives and to introduce them to activities to activate donation. In addition, we took an example of Young Nak church archive with the actual church archive to examine the laity record from the perspective of public history. This study was to examine the current status and collection policy of the laity record from the perspective of public history and introduce the storytelling exhibition to activate it. And we explained the system direction that the Church archive should build through homepage improvement and SNS utilization, necessity and cases of developing educational programs, record contents.
In the past, there have been no studies mentioning problems in the record preservation and collection of Church archives by introducing public history as studies on the classification of records, collection policy, and digital archive installation in relation to operation. And there has been no research on how to activate laity record donation. This study is of significance in that it examined the church archive from the perspective of public history and introduced storytelling and semiotics to activate the donation of the laity. However, its limitation is that the record management and donation system was not technically presented by introducing the public history theory and further research is required.
