懷月小說에 나타난 價値觀 考察 = (A) Study of the outlook on value in Hoewol's Novels

The extreme poverty of Korean people was revealed and the strife against the propertied classes was described in Hoewol's Novels. Now, I would study the outlook on value in those novels and point out the wrong outlooks.
First, the dignity of life was denied in Hoewol's Novels.
First of all, women in Chosun ages must have protected chastity. The absolute value of chastity was gradually turned into the realative one and the value of, life was regarded absolutely in 'Modern ages. But the absolute value of life was denied in Hoewol's Novels in order to achieve proletarian purposes by intention. It's a mistake.
Second, All morals that meant father's love, mother's love, filial piety and friendship etc. were denied in Hoewol's Novels.
From the Rhee Dynasty to Modern Ages, Korean people adhered J keep those morals, and then people thought that keeping all morals well is living ar□□ternal life. But those morals didn't be represented in Hoewol's Novels at all. Besides, a proletarian killed a proletarian boy, it is the wrongest mistake of all murder cases. That is, Hoewol destroyed all morals in order to achieve Proletarian purposes.
Third, the ideal value of wealth as well as the pleasure-loving value of wealth was denied in Hoewol's Novels.
In Modern ages, wealth was very important, and it meant survival. The outlook on value about wealth was two in those days. One was the pleasure-loving value of wealth, the other was the ideal value of wealth that meant helping poor children and performing a social service etc. Hoewol must have improved the former, but he had denied all the value of wealth.
In conclusion, the dignity of life, all morals and the ideal value of wealth were denied, and then Novel's order, the stream of consciousness and love etc. were not regarded in order to repesent proletarian purposes. There were only extreme poverty, an animal instinct, exposure, resistance and proletarian strife in Hoewol' s Novels.
