The present study will be focused on exploring the quality of Archival Information Service provided by the Sungkonghoe University’s Demos-Archives. Additionally, the study verified how this would affect the user satisfaction and their willingness to use the service again. Also, an integrated study was conducted by supplementing the results obtained, through analyzing the interviews on user satisfaction. Furthermore, few suggestions were offered in ameliorating the archival Information Services that would prompt users to utilize the services again and the future direction it might adopt. Accordingly, a research model was implemented which in turn will enable us to a conduct professional statistical research whereas conducting interviews simultaneously, ergo the major elements of the model based on the archival information service are the following four, quality of the archival Information, quality of the access service, quality of the archival Information online system, and quality of the off-line infra.
The results of the analysis showed that, quality of the Archival Information Service, as well as its offline facilities did significantly affect the overall satisfaction of the users and their willingness in using the service again. Even though the results from the quality element from the access quality had a significant effect on overall user satisfaction, the element of returning users showed responsiveness and perceptual openness were quite significant.
It might be necessary more systematic research is continued on the diverse types of private archive services, by evaluating and checking the user data corresponding to the specific private archives and in implementing needed improvement measures respectively.
