The degrees of freedom (DoF) of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) networks with reconfigurable antennas (RAs) is stuided. First, the sum DoF of MIMO broadcast channels (BC) achievable when using linear pre-coding strategies is established for general configurations of RAs. Secondly, the sum DoF of two-user MIMO interference channels (IC) and two-cell MIMO interfering multiple access channels (MAC) achievable when using linear pre-coding strategies is analyzed. Thirdly, the sum DoF of full-duplex (FD) multi-user MIMO networks is established. Furthermore, the achievable rate of the proposed scheme is evaluated in the context of the massive MIMO systems. The results show that the proposed schemes provide a gain of both the sum DoF and the sum rate in the various MIMO networks with no CSIT.
