A Study on the acquisition methods for the SNS Records : Focusing on the records of Twitter about 'Gangnam station murder case’

The major events of the present day show the most current history shared by the contemporaries of age. The events also hold the views of social members of the community. The perspective of the society projects the constant value of the society's dominant values, ideologies, and dominant discourse that most of society members deem important. Events are remembered differently depending on the viewpoint of the members of society.
The records of the various entities affect or are affected by the events may show the meaning and value of the events in terms of the social context of the present beyond providing information related to the events. At the same time, it is a social record that forms the social memory of social members about the event. Social records include new recording media, forms, and genres that were not recognized in existing public records.
It is the SNS record that has recently attracted attention as a contemporary event record and Twitter record is the one of them. Despite its value and importance as an information providing medium, Twitter has not been actively studied as an evaluation target of information resource utilization. In addition, there is no case study of twitter record archiving which has a great effect on our society.
This study has a perception of the need to collect, preserve and utilize Twitter records as a social record for the sake of changing perceptions and perspectives of social members' perception of perspectives or perspectives.
For this purpose, this study first chose the "Gangnam station murder case" as the theme of the recording, and examined the social records and the recording process produced by women in online and offline situations. And also it intends to see the recording of the progress of this case in the context of a similar historical record of the case through collaboration between private and public. Based on this, it wanted to present the objective of collecting the purpose of recording of Twitter records related to women`s events and issues related to the issue.
Just as the memorial records are recognized as a social record of continuous values, Twitter records also need to be collected from a contemporary woman's perspective on contemporary events.
As a result, the purpose of this study is to suggest acquisition methods of collecting purposeful records of Twitter records related to cases and issues of Korean women.
