정약용의 산문을 활용한 고전수필의 통합적 교육방안 연구 = The study of unitive education method on classical essay using Jeong Yak-yong's prose

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 인류의 지혜와 통찰이 담긴 고전의 다양한 교육적 가치와 효용성을 밝히고, 각 분야의 전문성과 문제 해결 능력을 길러줄 수 있는 교육방안을 연구하는 데에 목표를 두었다. 이에 현행 교육과정에서 다루고 있는 고전수필의 양상을 살피고 제한적인 주제의식의 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 정약용의 산문을 분석하고 이를 활용한 통합적 교육방안을 제안하고자 한다.
2장의 고전수필 교육의 현황과 나아갈 방향에서 먼저, 현행 고등학교 교육과정이 반영된 교과서에 고전수필이 수록된 양상을 살피고 작품 활용의 한계와 극복 방안을 제시하였다. 고전수필은 다양한 소재와 주제의식을 담고 있음에도 불구하고 제한된 시간과 한정된 영역으로 인해 학교 현장에서 다각적이고 깊이 있게 다루기가 어려운 실정이었다. 본고에서는 고전수필 교육이 교훈 일변도의 성격에서 벗어날 당위성을 제시하고 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정의 취지에 따라 핵심텍스트를 매개로 한 통합교육의 원리를 제시하였다.
3장에서는 정약용의 산문이 가진 통합적 교육 제재로서의 가치를 다각적으로 검토하여 밝혔다. 정약용의 산문은 인문·예술, 사회·문화, 과학·기술, 문학 등 여러 분야에 걸쳐 광범위한 주제를 대상으로 하고 있다. 일상에서 접할 수 있는 사물을 대상으로 한 성찰적인 글쓰기 외에도 여러 방면의 문제에 대해 다각적으로 고찰하여 실제적인 해결 방안을 제시한 글쓰기 방식은 현대 사회의 문제의식과도 닮아있다. 이를 염두에 두고 정약용의 여러 산문을 크게 일상에서의 삶에 대한 통찰, 사회 모순 인식과 현실 고발, 과학적 원리와 자연현상 탐구의 세 가지 방향에서 분석하여 교육적 가치를 밝혔다. 정약용이 직접 겪은 다양한 경험과 사유를 토대로 한 작품은, 고전문학이 가진 문예미를 차치하고라도 주제의 다양성과 가치의 실현이라는 면에서 현대적으로도 충분한 교육적인 가치를 지녔다고 볼 수 있다.
4장에서는 앞서 분석한 정약용의 산문을 활용하여 고전수필의 통합적 교육방안을 제시하였다. 먼저, 같은 국어교과 내 다른 영역과의 통합 방안으로 일상에서의 삶에 대한 통찰을 다룬 작품인 「매선당기」를 핵심텍스트로 하여 문학과 쓰기 및 듣기·말하기 영역과 연계하였다. 연계 과정은 수필 장르를 중심으로 하여 통합 단원을 재구성하고 이에 따라 구체적인 교수·학습 지도안을 구안하였다.
또, 다른 교과 간의 통합 방안에서 사회 영역은 사회 모순과 비참한 현실 고발이 나타나 있는 「조승문」을 핵심텍스트로 하고, 과학 영역은 자연 현상과 과학적 원리를 그림으로 설명한 「지구도설」을 핵심텍스트로 활용하였다. 이 핵심텍스트를 매개로 하여 국어와 사회 영역, 국어와 과학 영역을 통합하되, 각 영역별로 관련 주제를 중심으로 하여 통합 단원을 재구성하고 이에 따라 구체적인 교수·학습 지도안을 구안하였다.
이상의 논의를 통해 정약용의 산문이 가진 다양한 교육적 가치를 고찰할 수 있었고, 이를 바탕으로 한 통합 교육에서는 학생들의 고전수필에 대한 긍정적인 인식의 변화와 일상에서 겪을 수 있는 문제에 대한 창의적인 해결 방안을 살펴볼 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper are eliciting the educative value and utility of classics filled with wisdom and insight in humankind, as well as researching the education method which develops professionality and problem solving skills in various fields. For the sake of those, I suggests a unitive education method using an analysis on Jeong Yak-yong's prose in order to resolve the problems that current education methods has in employing classical essay.
In chapter 2, It is examined that how the classical essay's aspects lie on a highschool's text reflecting the current education methods, and find out the difficulties in utilizing the classical essay diversely and thoughtfully because of limited time and field at the chalk-face. As the solution plan about those, this paper suggests the unitive principle mediating the core text according to education methods of the 2015, and also suggests the oughtness deviated from the total dependence upon a lesson.
In chapter 3, It is examined that how Jeong Yak-yong's prose has the value for a unitive education method. His prose handles wide topics through many fields. It is also similar to the critical mind of modern society in regard to introspective writing on things for daily use and practical writing on problems for all sorts of fields. Considering those, I investigates the educational value of Jeong Yak-yong's prose into three ways which are insight for daily life, prosecution of reality, and scientific investigation. Jeong Yak-yong's literary works including those meanings should have well worth modern value of education in terms of the thematic diversity and the realization of utility, though the beautiful literary art of classics were neglected.
In chapter 4, a unitive education method of the classical essay is suggested using Jeong Yak-yong's prose above-mentioned. At first, I make a connection from writing, listening and speaking to literature with the core text of 「MadSonDangGi」 which treats the insight for daily life as the unitive method between korean language curriculum inside. As a connection process, the unitive unit is recast centering around genre of essay. After that, a concrete guidance plan for teaching-learning guidance plan is devised.
For the unitive method between curriculum inside, the social field has the core text as 「JoSeungMun」 which shows social discontent and prosecution of reality, also the scientific field has the core text as 「Explanatory diagrams of the Earth」 which shows natural phenomenon and scientific principle with pictures. With those methods, Korean Language can be connected to other fields mediating the core text, and a concrete guidance plan for teaching-learning guidance plan is devised concerning the unitive unit recast centering around the related subject in each field.
Through those process, the various education value of Jeong Yak-yong's prose can be considered. Furthermore, those unitive education provides a positive cognizance change of the student about classical essay and a creative solution of the problems for daily life.
