어린이집 일과에서의 영유아 권리존중에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식비교 및 교사의 갈등 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 일과에서의 영유아 권리존중에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식과 교사가 어린이집 일과에서 겪는 갈등을 분석하여, 어린이집의 권리주체인 영유아, 교사, 학부모가 함께 어린이집 일과에서 영유아 권리존중의 문화를 조성하는데 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
연구문제 1. 어린이집 일과에서의 영유아 권리존중에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식은 어떠한가?
연구문제 2. 어린이집 일과운영 실제에서 교사가 당면하는 영유아 권리존중 관련 갈등은 어떠한가?
이를 위하여 연구문제 1에 대하여는 설문지를 이용하여 조사되었으며, 서울 중구에 위치한 국공립 어린이집의 교사200명과 학부모 230명을 연구대상으로 하였고, 김진숙(2009)이 개발한 영유아 권리존중에 관한 교사와 학부모의 인식을 분석하기 위한 설문지를 수정•보완하여 사용하였고, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 사용하여 통계 분석을 실행하였다. 설문지의 타당도 및 신뢰도를 파악하기 위하여 Cronbach's α 계수를 산출하였으며, 영유아 권리존중에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식 차이를 알아보기 위하여 t-검증과 교사와 학부모의 각 변인에 따른 영유아 권리존중에 대한 인식 차이를 알아보고자 F검증을 실시하였다.
연구문제 2에 대하여는 설문지 연구에 참여한 A어린이집에 속한 교사 5명이 5월~9월 20주 동안 주 1회 저널쓰기를 실시하였고, 총 96건의 저널을 범주화 하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
설문지 조사 방법을 통하여 교사와 학부모의 영유아 권리존중에 관한 영역별 인식차이를 통하여 학부모의 참여에 따른 영역의 인식이 가장 높았으며, 교사의 학력이 높을수록 영유아 권리존중에 관한 인식이 높았다.
저널쓰기를 통한 질적 분석 방법을 통하여 하루일과 중 가장 갈등상황과 어려움을 느끼는 시간은 자유선택활동 시간으로 총 96건의 저널 중 43건의 내용으로 전체의 44%를 차지하였으며, 급•간식 17건으로 17%, 등하원시간이 12건으로 12%로 높았다.
이상의 결과를 바탕으로 영유아 권리존중에 관한 교사와 학부모의 인식, 어린이집 일과에서 교사가 겪는 갈등을 알아볼 수 있었다. 영유아 권리존중을 위하여 교사와 학부모가 함께 어린이집 일과에 참여하도록 하고, 교사와 학부모, 영유아 간에 먼저 존중하고 배려하며, 어린이집 권리주체를 위한 권리존중 교육과, 영유아와 교사의 법정 비율을 낮추는 정부의 정책적 지원의 뒷받침이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose of this thesis is to conduct analysis on the perception gap between teachers and parents regarding respect for young children' right during child care center's and on teachers' conflict in order to provide basic data for young children, teachers and school parents who are the subject of rights to create culture of respect for infants' right during child care center's daily works. Following research problems are set up according to purpose of this study;
Research problem 1; What is perception of teachers and parents regarding respect for young children' right during child care center’s daily works?
Research problem 2; What is actual teachers' conflict regarding respect for young children' right during child care center’s daily works?
For this, survey for the Research problem 1 was done by questionnaire on 200 teachers at public child care center in Jung-gu, Seoul and 230 school parents; the questionnaire developed by Kim, Jin-Sook (2009) was revised and supplemented to analyze perception of teachers and parents regarding respect for young children' right; and, a statistical analysis was performed through SPSS 18.0 program.
With respect to the Research problem 2, journal writing was done once a week for 20 weeks from May to September by 5 teachers of A child care center participating in the questionnaire survey, and total 96 journals were categorized.
Summary of the research is as follows;
The questionnaire survey showed that recognition on parents' participation was the highest through perception gap between teachers and parents regarding respect for young children' right and that recognition on respect for infants' right was high if academic background of teachers was high.
Qualitative analysis method by journal writing showed that free-choice activity time was the time when teachers felt the severest conflict and difficulties during daily works and it was 43 cases from total 96 cases forming 44% of the whole; meal/snack was 17 cases forming 17%; and then, coming to and from school was 12 cases with 12%.
Based on above results, we can see the perception gap between teachers and parents regarding respect for young children' right and the teachers' conflict during child care center’ daily works. It is required to make both teachers and parents participate in child care center's daily works for respect for young children' right; to make teachers, parents and young children respect and consider each other; and to arrange governmental policy support to render education of respect for right of child care center subject and to reduce legal rate of young children and teachers.
