아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응 척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응 척도를 개발하고 타당화 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 우선, 기존의 관련척도와 이론적 근거를 토대로 가설적 하위요인을 구성하고 예비문항을 추출하였다. 1차 예비문항에 대한 전문가의 내용타당도 검증 과정을 통해 2차 예비문항을 구성하였고, 초등학교 4,5,6학년 남녀 학생들 520명을 대상으로 1차 조사를 실시하였다. 문항양호도 분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 3요인, 21문항이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이렇게 추출된 3요인에 대하여 감정코칭 반응, 과민 반응, 감정축소 반응으로 명명하였다.
다음으로는 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는 것을 통해 척도의 활용도를 높이고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 4,5,6학년 남녀 학생 413명을 대상으로 2차 조사를 실시하였다. 본 척도의 신뢰도를 살펴보기 위해 문항 내적 일관성 신뢰도와 4주간의 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 검증하였고 그 결과 비교적 안정적인 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 다양한 측면에서의 타당도를 검증하였는데 첫 번째, 내적 구조에 기초한 근거로 확인적 요인분석과 수렴-판별타당도 검증을 실시한 결과, 상이한 표집에서도 요인구조의 안정성과 적합성을 확인하였다. 두 번째로 다른 변수와의 관계에 기초한 근거로는 아동이 지각한 어머니 양육행동 척도와의 관련성을 분석한 결과 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나 타당성을 검증하였다. 세 번째로 검사결과에 기초한 근거로는 본 척도의 하위요인과 아동의 정서지능, 탄력성 간의 관련성 및 영향력을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응 척도가 아동의 정서능력 및 사회적 능력을 예측하는 척도로 활용될 수 있음을 검증하였다. 네 번째로는 적응 집단과 비교 집단 간 변별 타당도를 통해 척도의 타당성을 확보하였다. 요컨대 본 연구에서 개발한 척도가 아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니의 반응을 신뢰롭고 타당하게 측정할 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다.
끝으로는 본 척도를 통해 나타난 자녀의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응을 분석하고자 하위요인별 수준차이를 살펴본 결과 감정코칭 반응, 감정축소 반응, 과민 반응 순으로 높게 나타났다. 또한, 성차에 따른 하위요인 별 차이가 있는지를 확인한 결과 어머니들은 여아들에 비해 남아들에게 감정축소 반응과 과민 반응을 더 많이 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study was to develop and validate measures of a mother's reaction to children's negative emotions. The development and validity of the scale is presented in a series of studies. After construct factors of a mother's reaction to children's negative emotions based on the theoretical basis and existing scales were explored, the first preliminary items were extracted. Through a process of the content validity of them by experts in the field, the second preliminary items were composed, and the initial survey of 520 elementary school students in 4th - 6th grades was carried out. Using the items goodness analysis and exploratory factor analysis, three principal factors and 21 items were revealed to be suitable. The factors of the scale consist of emotion-coaching-reaction, oversensitive reaction, and emotion-minimizing-reaction.
Also the reliability analysis and validation analysis of the scale, surveyed 413 elementary students of the same grades, were conducted. The internal coherence reliability and test-retest reliability were verified the general internal coherence and timing stability of the scale.
There were four additional verifications to validate the scale. Firstly, for the evidence based on internal structure, the confirmatory factor analysis and convergent-discriminant evidence were resulted in confirming the factor structure of the scale reliable. Secondly, in order for the relation to other variables, the correlation analysis came in effect to the overall scale and each of its subfactors showing that they are significantly correlated with the scale of the child's perception on rearing attitude of the mother. Thirdly, as for evidence based on consquences of test, the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis produced a result that subfactors of the scale has significant correlation with the child's emotional intelligence and resilience. With this result, it is verified that the scale can be utilized for the predicting scale of the child's abilities of emotional intelligence and resilience. Lastly, the discriminant validity was found between the adjustment groups and non-adjustment groups which ensured the validity of the scale.
Finally, as for the comparative analysis of the scale by subfactors, an increasing order of the disparity was identified, showing the emotion-coaching-reaction the least displayed one, followed by the emotion-minimizing-reaction and oversensitive reaction. The gender gap in subfactors differentiated mother's reactions more emotion-coaching-reaction and oversensitive reaction to the girls.
