This thesis is the study of natural images seen through the sensible eyes of a researcher, more specifically focusing on the contemplation of nature as circulation of vital forces of life expressed through the language of visualizations. Giving form to the aesthetics of the natural subjects through the image reconstructed language. Formulated visualizations of the images of nature are combination of figurative inner psyche, the unconscious and empathy.
Natural images based on the meaning of life forms express the switch to the psychoanalytic unconscious desires and art theory from the perspective of human consciousness and emotions on the other side of the flowing images containing a representation of life and its property simultaneously. From these interpretations, vital forces of life are visually expressed as paintings, including the impressions of inner psyche and dynamism of change.
Methodologies of expression are mainly utilized by reinterpretation of the subject nature with modern painting techniques, mainly combining the close up techniques and image cropping.
The soft brush techniques utilized throughout the research best expresses the sensibility and figurativeness of the nature subject, and various life forms are visualized as natural phenomena as motif throughout the course work. Works by prominent artists like Georgia O'Keeffe, Emil Nolde, and Chun Kyung Ja are utilized as interpretive elements within the research to further construct, comprehend and articulate the thematic components of this research.
Shaping the nature of the image through the internal sensitive and figurative representation of the natural materials in cooperation with the various theories and production processes can be somewhat ambiguous in cross-section through figurative intuitive perspectives defined. Through this research, I hope to better coordinate and coherently shape the natural images seen and expressed through the eyes of inner sensibilities.
This paper hopes to establish the nature of this research to be recognized as significant and worth-while approach as the starting point for natural image studies to flourish in the near future.
