광명시의 민간기록물 관리를 위한 지방기록물관리협의회 설립 방안 연구 : 푸른광명21실천협의회의 사례를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to propose the establishment of "Local Archives Management Council" for local government to activate local archives. The method is to collect and manage private records, in which the local identity places. Focusing on the structure and the communication system of The Council of Green gwangmyeong21 which is the local governance, I tried to set up the character, the structure and the role of “Local Archives Management Council in Gwangmyung city".

In the chapter 2, I first define the range of private records with the local identity. Then I state that the local identity, which has been damaged by industrialization and urbanization, can be re-established with the proper use and management of the private records. In the Chapter 3, I grasp the present situation in management of private records, and examine how they preserve and use the records in focusing two city’s case: Gwangmyung and Siheung. In the chapter 4, I suggest the role and the foundation plan for "Local Archives Management Council in Gwangmyung city", based on the case of "The Council of Green Gwangmyeong 21".

This study will play a helpful role that suggesting the effective way to establish private - public cooperative "Local Archives Management Council", in case that there are local governments performing like "The Council of Green Gwangmyeong 21".
