This paper is to help professional voice users, who use their voice a lot because of their profession, by proposing voice training method. Professional voice users are the ones who maintain their profession with voice such as opera singers, pop singers, pansori singer, speech therapists, broadcasters, actors, teachers, ministers. Among these people, singers, pop singers, and actors are defined as voice professionals, because even a slight issue in their voice may lead to a serious result.
Natural and comfortable voice, honest and convincing voice is required from professional voice users such as teachers, instructors, and ministers. To them, their voice is the essential requisite. However, it is generally thought that the voice cannot be changed or improved, therefore even the professional voice users who use their voice for their career do not realize the importance of voice training. Also the opportunity to receive voice trainings is rarely available.
Until now, studies on voice were limited to phonetics or physiology, only proposing the mechanism on how the sound is generated. Conversational skills for actors were also discussed. There are researches on voice therapy, but there are insufficient studies that address practical activities and preventive measures such as voice training.
Therefore, this research targeted professional voice users, specifically ministers, and aimed to propose practical method of voice training. First, the range of vocal was narrowed down and was defined as ‘voice’, which is familiar to the general public. The study tried to understand the concept of voice, which includes variety of information, and the mechanism behind generating voice. After confirming the strengths and weaknesses of each minister, the study introduced measures that can be applied in real life such as enhancement measures that will improve one’s voice and maintenance measure that will help keeping healthy voice.
Through voice training, one can change and improve his or her voice and can maintain and protect healthy voice. Also by free using one’s voice, he or she can improve his or her professional ability. Thus I applied and verified voice training method for professional voice users, specifically ministers.

Also it describes functions of voice other than expressing thoughts and delivering information, such as showing personal characteristics, emotional state, and personal information. It also talks about personality shown from voice and also the relationship between status and power and voice.
