This study attempted to investigate the effects of fantasy about love, self-esteem, differentiation of self and cognitive emotion regulation strategies on limerence in romantic relationship. For this research, data were collected from 278 adults who female college student. The Questionnaire contained Jibchack Behavior Scale, Passionate love Scale(PLS), The differentiation of Self Inventory(DSI-R), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ), Self-Esteem Scale(SES), Social Desirability Scale(SDS). The results showed that fantasy about love, self-esteem, differentiation of self, maladaptive strategy significantly predict limerence in romantic relationship. Many fantasy about love and use of maladaptive strategy predicted high limerence in romantic relationship, and high differentiation of self, self-esteem predicted low limerence in romantic relationship. Finally, the clinical implications and several limitations of the present study were discussed.
