아르토의 잔혹연극론과 현대도시 공간구조의 상관성 분석에 관한 연구 : 코드의 충돌에 의한 '사이공간'을 중심으로 = A study on the Analysis of Interrelationship between Artaud's "Theatre et son Double" and Urban space structure

국문 초록 (Abstract)

20세기 초 산업혁명으로부터 시작된 사람들의 인식과 사고는 세계 제 1차 대전으로 인해 큰 변화를 겪게 된다. 또한 과거로부터 이어져 내려오던 사회체계 및 현상과 변화된 인식의 세계는 서로 충돌을 일으키게 되었다. 그 결과로 많은 예술 분야 에서는 이 차이에 대한 반기, 반론의 움직임이 일어나게 되었고, 특히 연극 부분에서는 앙토냉 아르토를 선두로 부조리극과 전통적인 관객관의 변화를 통한 사회변혁 움직임이 일어났다. 아르토는 그의 저서 ？잔혹연극론？을 통해 당시의 사회를 진단하는데, 그는 이 사회를 각종 규율과 규제들이 혼돈(chaos)의 상태로 존재하고 있고 이로 인해 사람들이 억압, 구속 받는다고 하였다. 하지만, 이러한 끝없는 모순과 대립들이 궁극적으로는 잔혹성을 통한 통합인 집단무의식의 표출로 이어질 수 있는데, 이 때 ？잔혹극？은 사람들을 구속에서 벗어나게 함으로써 창조적 인간을 만들 수 있다 주장 하였다.
이러한 그의 사회진단은 20세기 말부터 형성된 현대 도시와 더욱 그 맥락을 같이 한다. 20세기 말 세계의 도시는 글로벌리즘의 동질화와 이에 대한 저항으로서 지역 문화와 역사유지를 통한 이질성의 대립을 이루며, 시, 공간적 진공상태를 경험하고 있다. 이것은 고유의 풍토적 문화와 외부로부터 유입된 외래문화 그리고 무국적의 세계 문화의 논리가 혼합되어 생성된 것이다. 이러한 현상은 도시에 ？차이？ 혹은 ？고유성？의 용어로 설명 되지 않는 균열, 즉 사이공간이 형성되는 원인이 된다. 이 사이공간은 전통적인 방식으로 구획되고 읽혀지는 기존의 도시 사고방식에서는 정의 되지 않는 끊임없는 변화와 혼돈의 공간인 것이다.
시 공간적 진공상태를 형성하는 사이공간은 차이나 고유성의 용어로 설명 되지 않는 카오스적 경향을 띠지만, 들뢰즈의 기관 없는 신체에서 논증하는 지층의 형성이라는 근원으로 돌아가 질료적 흐름을 발생 시키는 코드의 개념으로 돌아가면 해석이 가능하다. 강밀도의 분포가 디그리 제로인 상태인 기관 없는 신체는 코드화를 통해 지층을 형성하는 과정인 지층화가 일어난다. 여기서 지층화를 작동 시키는 코드화에서 코드는 몰적인 집합과 분자적인 다양성, 즉 탈주의 움직임이 동시에 존재하는 벡터적 개념으로 양가적 성질을 지닌다. 이질적이고 대립적인 코드들의 충돌로 이루어진 사이공간은 코드의 내재적 속성으로 인해 탈주의 움직임을 수반하며 이것은 곧 변화의 가능성을 암시하게 된다.
따라서 이 연구에서는 아르토가 잔혹연극론에서 대립적인 요소들의 혼돈 상태를 무대 공간을 통하여 통합하려는 의도를 현재의 도시를 읽는 사고의 전략적 발판으로 삼아, 대립요소의 혼돈 상태를 들뢰즈의 코드의 개념을 중심으로 사이 공간으로 재해석 한 후, 이를 잔혹연극론에서 강조되는 대립항의 요소들 간의 상관성을 바탕으로 재조명함으로써 사이공간이 현대 도시 공간 구조에서 행위자로 작동할 수 있는 가능성을 알아보려 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Cognition and thinking had been changed due to World War 1 which started from Industrial Revolution on early 20th century. However, it caused a collision between social structure and phenomenon which from past and changed cognition. As a result, in the field of art, there are some movements about objection in this distinction, In particular, in the field of theater, Antonin Artaud has led social change through irrationality play and changing traditional view on audience. He diagnosed present society through the ？Th羽tre et son Double？ which he wrote, he said that every regulation and restriction is in chaotic state and it suppress and imprison people. However, this endless conflict and contradictory could release collective unconscious through the cruelty. At this moment, ？the theater of cruelty？ operates human being free and more creative.
Artaud？s social diagnosis and modern cities which built from the end of 20th century can be understood in the similar context. Since the end of 20th century, most cities in the world have been experiencing a conflict situation between the globalism's homogenization and localism's adhesion, as a resistance against the globalization, to indigenous culture. It has made by the mix of unique indigenous, foreign and statelessness global culture. This phenomenon would be a cause forming ？in-between？ space that is inexplicable simply in both differences and a peculiarity. That is an endless change and chaotic space that could not be defined city on previous logic which divide and understand.
In-between space generate time-space vacuum situation which is inexplicable simply in both differences and a peculiarity that has a chaotic state, however, it can be understand when it get back to the notion of code which makes material's flow based on a notion of a root at beginning of strata which is body without organs proved by Deleuze. Body without organs has created strata through encoding which is degree zero state in distribution of density. In this situation, code which creates being strata has twofold characteristic that is a mol could be explained as becoming common and a molecule explained diversity as a minor factor which has a movement of flight as a notion of vector. In other words, code has a twofold properties. In-between space which made by collision of heterogeneous codes involved movement of flight that is implicate possibility of a change.
So, in this study, we are going to take intention of Artaud that would combine chaotic state of conflicting factors through space of stage as a toehold to reinterpret it to the in-between space. Then we are going to find out a possibility as a performer in contemporary urban structure through re-read relations each conflicting factors which emphasized on ？Th羽tre et son Double'.
