After experiencing 20 years of renovation, Vietnam has made extremely important changes and achieved a high growth rate for long time leading to an increase in GDP and improvement of people?s living standards as well as the expansion of the relationships between our country and others. In such a process, education and training has been prospered, especially in industrialization policy.
Vietnam is one of the best performing developing countries in the world. Economic growth has been recorded at about 8 percent during the past decade, during which the industrial sector has played an increasing role in both value and employment creation. Swift changes in economic structure have attracted an increasing flow of foreign investments, particularly in the manufacturing sector, which in turn has helped Vietnam to promote higher economic growth. Moreover, under globalization with fiercer competition, both foreign and local enterprises in Vietnam need to improve their international competitiveness through good business connections. Industrialization policy becoming extremely important to the business strategies of the foreign manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam. The demand of the foreign enterprises in Vietnam for good local suppliers has necessitated more comprehensive industrial policies in developing these industries.
From experiences of development process of Korea, we can recognise that in present background, international trade still takes place in the tendency which is helpful and unhelpful for developing countries, especially for poor countries in the process of intergaration to world and area economy. Therefore, for Vietnam case, we must be careful in every step of economic development process, especially when applying experiences from precedent countries (for example Korea) into our case. Although there are a lot of trade strategy models, but there is no one can bring the maximum and perfects. Because of this, we must avoid ?absolute thinking?, it can cause imbalance in economic development. This is also one important thing which we can learn from Korea case.
