자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 심리사회적 부적응 간의 관계 : 부모화의 매개효과 = (The) effect of perceived marital conflicts on psychosocial maladjustment : the mediating role of parentification

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등이 심리사회적 부적응에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 부모화의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다.
이를 위해, 서울 및 경기도 소재 고등학교의 학생 487명(남자 187명, 여자 300명)을 대상으로 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등척도, 부모화 척도(FRS-Y), 심리사회적 부적응 척도(K-YSR)를 실시하였다.
먼저 각 변인의 성별에 따른 차이를 알아본 결과 세 변인 모두 성별에 따른 차이가 없었다. 다음으로 각 변인의 상관관계를 알아본 결과, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 부모화, 심리사회적 부적응은 모두 유의미한 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 마지막으로 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 심리사회적 부적응 간의 관계에 대한 부모화의 매개효과를 검증하였다. SPSS 18.0을 통해 분석한 결과, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 심리사회적 부적응간의 관계에서 부모화가 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 구체적으로 살펴보기 위하여, 내재화 문제와 외현화 문제를 구분하고 부모화의 하위요인에 따른 매개효과가 어떻게 나타나는지 알아본 결과, 내재화 문제에 있어서 물리적 부모화와 불공정성만 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 외현화 문제 사이에서 물리적 부모화와 정서적 부모화가 부분 매개효과가 나타났으며, 불공정성은 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
끝으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점과 향후 연구방향을 기술하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, research was conducted by examining parentification as mediator of the relationship between perceived marital conflict and psychosocial maladjustment.
For this purpose, sample of 487 highschool students(187 men and 300 women) were asked to complete Children's Perception of Inter-parental Conflict Scale, Filial Responsibility Scale-Youth, Korean Youth Self Report. Hierarchical multiple regression analyses were performed using SPSS v,18.0.
The results were as follow: (1)there were significant correlations between perceived marital conflict, parentification, psychosocial maladjustmet. Psychosocial maladjustment was positively related to perceived marital conflict and parentification. (2) Parentification partially mediated the relationship between perceived marital conflict and psychosocial maladjustment. Concretely, among parentification, instrumental parentification and unfairness parentification partially mediated the relationship between perceived marital conflicts and internalizing problems. Instrumental parentification and emotional parentification partially mediated the relationship between perceived marital conflicts and externalizing problems. Unfairness parentification perfectly mediated the relationship between perceived marital conflicts and externalizing problems. Finally, the clinical implications and several limitations of the present study were discussed.
