Delphi/AHP를 활용한 태권도 시범단의 방향성 제시를 위한 중요요인 분석 = Analysis on Important Factors for Presenting the Direction of Taekwondo Demonstration Team Through Delphi/AHP

Taekwondo, a Korean martial art and the national sport of South Korea, is the most symbolic cultural heritage of Korea. In addition, the excellent techniques and systems of Taekwondo that represents the Orient, were already proven. Taekwondo has solidified its footing as one of the most renowned martial arts and sports of the world, coming into the limelight by people around the world, since Seoul Olympic Games in 1988 and Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
Specifically, Taekwondo was adopted as an official sport of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, taking root as Korea's proud sport that uses Korean language. Following its official recognition for the Sydney Olympic Games, Taekwondo was also granted official recognition for 2007 Athens Olympic Games and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, laying the cornerstone for Taekwondo to exist as a permanent sports, and furthermore, Korea accomplished the outstanding feat of winning gold medals in four weight classes of Taekwondo competition for both male and female in Beijing Olympic Games.
The remarkable development of Taekwondo match, namely the Taekwondo competition, was the greatest factor that led Taekwondo to achieve the status of permanent sports, and it was the result of the intensive efforts of Taekwondo demonstration team that was launched to promote Taekwondo abroad.
The internal and external activities of Taekwondo demonstration have helped bring about a remarkable advancement of demonstration programs and techniques, the techniques that can be presented by the current demonstration may be limited at present. In addition, the field of Taekwondo demonstration has been divided into two different types, putting an added emphasis on the authenticity and the performance(creativity), respectively, which brings confusion to the identity of Taekwondo.
Therefore, the necessity and purpose of this study are to present the direction that Taekwondo, which has been confronted with the uncertainty of identity, attempts to pursue by analyzing important factors of the current Taekwondo demonstration of Korea Republic through Delphi/Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).
The subject of this study was the Taekwondo adult demonstration team of Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korea Taekwondo Association, the head and coach of the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korean Tigers, who were selected as expert groups, and the samples were taken from them which were necessary for the delphi analysis.
Based on the data obtained from delphi analysis, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) survey questionnaires were generated, and a total of 30 people, 10 each from the Taekwondo adult demonstration team of Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korea Taekwondo Association, the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korean Tigers, were surveyed through AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).
The medium factors of Taekwondo demonstration will be considered on the basis of the data collected through delphi technique, and on that basis, questionnaire sheets are intended to be designed, which will be applied to AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) in order to derive important factors.
For the questionnaires, which will be applied to the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), the factor pairwise comparison questionnaires with 9 score ratio scale system based on the important factors of Taekwondo demonstration were used.
AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was conducted by using Expert Choice 2000 software in order to analyze the important factor of Taekwondo demonstration and the presentation of the direction.
The procedure for AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) involves the evaluation of consistency index for the response data after surveying the experts. Here, the important factor of Taekwondo demonstration and the pursuit of future-orientedness were analyzed after selecting those of which consistency index did not exceed 0.1 as the data.
The first survey in this study led the head and coaches of Taekwondo demonstration team, who were participants in this study, to present their intuitive opinions as to what they considered were the important factors in Taekwondo demonstration. Five factors were derived, and on the basis of those five factors, the second survey questionnaires were designed. As a result of the survey, 19 detailed factors were derived.
The AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) survey questionnaires were generated using the factors of Taekwondo demonstration, which were derived through the 1st and 2nd delphi technique, and the survey of 30 people from the Taekwondo adult demonstration team of Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korea Taekwondo Association, the Taekwondo demonstration team of Korean Tigers indicated the follows:
The Taekwondo demonstration team of Korea Taekwondo Association considered that the top priority in Taekwondo demonstration was the ability to present Taekwondo effectively.
The Taekwondo adult demonstration team of Kukkiwon considered that the top priority in Taekwondo demonstration was the ceaseless effort and endurance.
The Taekwondo demonstration team of Korean Tigers considered that the top priority in Taekwondo demonstration was the sense of mission and the mindset to set an example.
Taekwondo demonstration team considered that the highest priority in the integrated Taekwondo demonstration factor was the courteousness and tenacity of team members. In conclusion, the important factors for preventing the confusion of identity faced by Taekwondo demonstration and presenting a direction are like this:
The ability to present Taekwondo demonstration effectively needs to be built well, and both internal and external aspect and technical aspect need to be improved through the ceaseless effort and endurance of Taekwondo demonstration team.
In addition, Taekwondo demonstration team members need to have a strict sense of mission and the mindset to set an example, put an emphasis on courteousness, and perform Taekwondo demonstration with tenacity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

태권도는 한국의 가장 상징적인 문화유산이다. 또한 동양을 대표하는 무예로서, 뛰어난 기술성과 체계성에서 이미 증명되었다. ‘88서울올림픽과 ’92바르셀로나 올림픽 경기를 토대로 세계인들로 하여금 각광을 받고 있는 명실 공히 세계 속의 무도이자 스포츠로써 국제무대에서 그 기반을 확고히 구축하였다.
특히 2000년 시드니 올림픽에서는 당당히 정식종목으로 채택되어 우리말을 사용하는 자랑스러운 스포츠 종목으로 자리 잡게 되었다. 태권도는 시드니올림픽을 시점으로 2004년 아테네 올림픽에서 정식종목으로 2008년 북경 올림픽에서도 정식종목으로 채택되어 영구종목으로 존재 할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였으며, 북경 올림픽에서는 남,여 4체급 금메달 획득이라는 쾌거를 이루었다.
올림픽 영구종목이라는 단계까지 오게 할 수 있었던 것은 겨루기 즉 경기태권도의 비약적인 발전이 큰 역할을 하였고 태권도를 해외에 알리기 위해 출발한 태권도 시범단의 각고의 노력으로 일구어낸 결과라고 할 수 있다.
태권도 시범의 대내외적인 활동을 통하여 시범의 프로그램과 기술 또한 많은 발전을 해왔지만 현재 시범에도 보여줄 수 있는 기술의 한계가 도래 했다고 할 수 있다. 또한 태권도 시범 분야는 정통성 추구와 공연적 측면(창의성) 추구로 양분되어 정체성의 혼란을 가져오고 있다.
따라서 Delphi/계층분석(AHP)을 통하여 현재 대한민국의 태권도 시범에 중요요인을 분석하여 불확실한 정체성에 봉착한 태권도 시범이 추구하고자하는 방향을 제시하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 필요성 및 목적이다.
본 연구의 대상은 델파이 조사연구에 필요한 국기원 성인 태권도 시범단, 대한태권도 협회 태권도 시범단, 코리안 타이거즈 태권도시범단의 단장 및 코치 5명을 전문가 집단으로 선정하여 표본 추출을 실시하였다. 델파이 연구를 통해 얻은 자료를 토대로 AHP(계층분석)설문지를 제작하여, 국기원 성인 태권도 시범단, 대한태권도 협회 태권도 시범단, 그리고 코리안 타이거즈 태권도 시범단 단원 각각 10명(총30명)을 대상으로 AHP(계층분석)설문을 실시하였다.
델파이 기법을 통해 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 태권도 시범의 매개요인을 탐색한 후 이를 토대로 중요요인을 도출해 내기 위해 AHP(계층분석)에 적용될 설문지를 제작하고자 한다. 계층분석에 적용될 설문지는 태권도 시범에 있어 중요요인을 토대로 한 9점 비율척도 형식의 요인 이원비교(pairwise comparison) 설문지를 사용하였다.
태권도 시범의 중요요인 및 방향성제시를 분석하기 위하여 Expert Choice 2000 소프트웨어를 사용하여 계층분석(AHP)를 실시하였다.
계층분석을 위한 절차는 전문가들에게 설문을 실시한 후 각 응답 자료에 대한 일관성 지수를 평가하는 것이다. 여기서 일관성 지수가 0.1를 넘지 않는 것에 한하여 자료로 채택한 후 태권도 시범의 중요요인 및 미래지향적 추구성에 대하여 분석하였다.
본 연구의 1차 설문은 연구 참여자인 태권도 시범단의 단장 및 코치들에게 태권도 시범에 있어 중요요인이 무엇이라고 생각되는지에 대하여 자신들의 직관적인 견해를 제시하게 하였다.
5개의 요인이 도출되었고, 이 5개의 요인을 토대로 2차 설문지를 작성하여 조사한 결과 19개의 세부요인이 도출되었다.
1, 2차 델파이 기법을 통하여 도출된 태권도 시범의 요인들을 가지고 계층분석 설문지를 제작하여 국기원 성인 태권도 시범단, 대한태권도 협회 태권도 시범단, 코리안 타이거즈 태권도시범단의 단원들 30명에게 설문을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다.
대한태권도협회 태권도 시범단원들은 태권도 시범에 있어 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 우선순위는 태권도를 잘 표현할 수 있는 연출력이라고 판단하였다.
국기원 성인 태권도 시범단원들은 태권도 시범에 있어 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 우선순위는 끊임없는 노력과 인내라고 판단하였다.
코리안 타이거즈 태권도 시범단원들은 태권도 시범에 있어 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 우선순위는 단원들의 사명감과 모범의식이라고 판단하였다.
태권도 시범단원들은 통합된 태권도 시범요인에 있어 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 우선순위는 단원들의 예의와 근성이라고 판단하였다.
결론적으로, 현재 태권도 시범에 봉착한 정체성의 혼란을 막고 방향성을 제시하기 위한 중요요인은 다음과 같다. 태권도 시범을 잘 표현할 수 있는 연출력을 갖추고, 시범단원들의 끊임없는 노력과 인내를 통한 내․외면적인 면과 기술적인 면을 향상시켜야 한다. 또한 시범단원들은 투철한 사명감과 모범의식을 지녀야하며 예절을 중시하고, 근성 있는 자세로 태권도 시범을 수행하여야 한다.
