반추적, 반성적, 주의전환적 반응양식에 따른 문제해결력의 차이 = (The) difference of problem solving appraisal on ruminative, reflective, and distractive response style

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 내부초점적 주의의 부정적인 측면으로 알려진 반추적 반응양식과 긍정적인 측면으로 알려진 반성적 반응양식, 그리고 외부에 초점을 두는 주의전환적 반응양식에 따른 문제해결력의 차이를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 반응양식 질문지와 불안 설문지, 우울 설문지, 그리고 문제해결력 질문지를 445명의 대학생에게 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다.
연구 결과, 상관분석에서 반추적 반응양식은 문제해결력과 정적상관을, 반성적 반응양식은 문제해결력과 부적상관을 보였다. 주의전환적 반응양식은 문제해결력 척도의 하위요인인 문제해결 자신감 요인에서만 부적상관을 보였는데, 부분상관분석을 실시했을 때에는 이러한 상관이 나타나지 않았다.
연구를 통해 각각의 반응양식에 따른 문제해결력의 차이, 그리고 반추적 반응과 반성적 반응의 수준(고/저)에 따른 문제해결력의 차이를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 반추적 반응양식을 더 적게 취하고 반성적 반응양식을 더 많이 취하는 것이 문제해결에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 기술하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference of problem solving appraisal according to ruminative, reflective, and distractive response style.
Therefore, Responses to Depressed mood Questionnaire(RDQ), Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI), Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), and Problem Solving Inventory(PSI) were administered to 445 university students.
The results indicated that ruminative response style was negatively correlated with problem solving appraisal, and reflective response style was positively correlated with problem solving appraisal. Distractive response style was negatively correlated with Problem Solving Confidence Scale, one of the PSI subscale, but when using partial correlations analysis, correlation was not significant.
The study also investigated the difference of problem solving appraisal according to the level of reflective(high/low) and ruminative(high/low) response style. the results showed that lower level of ruminative response style and higher level of reflective response style affected positive effect on problem solving appraisal.
Finally, implication and limitation of this study were discussed.
