컴퓨터 입력장치 키보드의 다국어 입력방법에 관한 연구 = (The) research regarding the multi national language input method of the computer entry device keyboard

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 컴퓨터에 문자를 입력함에 있어 다국어 입력을 쉽고 편리하게 입력할 수 있는 키보드의 구현방법에 관한 연구이다. 컴퓨터로 문서를 작성하거나 E-Mail전송 등 문자를 입력할 때 다국어를 구현해야할 필요성을 느낄 때가 있을 것이다. 하지만 현재의 보편적인 키보드는 다국어를 입력하기가 쉽지 않다. 이는 현재 사용되고 있는 키보드가 2개 국어만을 사용할 수 있도록 제작되어 있기 때문이다.본 연구에서는 다국어를 입력하기 위한 현재까지의 방법들을 분석하고 여러 국가에서 사용되어지고 있는 키보드와 동일한 방법으로 키보드를 사용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하며 이를 설계하고 실험을 통하여 의도한 결과대로 구현이 되는 것을 보여주었다.본 연구에서 제시한 방법은 인쇄되어있는 각각의 자판 위의 문자를 소형 LCD를 통하여 Display 시키고 Display된 문자를 키보드 회로가 발생시키는 문자에 대응하는 Code 와 일치시키고 이를 컴퓨터에 연결하여 기존의 시스템과 동일하게 구동되게 하였으며 언어선택 키를 별도로 두어 원하는 언어를 선택하면 자판위의 문자가 원하는 언어의 자판배열로 Display 된다. 사용자가 필요로 하는 언어는 데이터화하여 사용자가 필요로 하는 만큼 선택하여 설치할 수 있고 모든 언어를 다 지원할 수도 있다.본 논문에서는 다국어 입력장치 키보드의 구현과 이를 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고 기존의 키보드로 구현할 수 없는 새로운 입력방법에 대해서도 제시하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to research into the ways to implement a keyboard allowing for easy and convenient inputs of multi-languages into computer. When writing documents using the computer or sending e-mails, we may need to input multi-languages onto the computer monitor. Nevertheless, the current universal keyboards seldom allows for input of multi-languages; they are designed to allow only for input of two languages.In order to solve such a problem, this study analyzed the input methods used so far for input of multi-languages and thereupon, suggested the way to use the keyboard in the same way as those used in various nations, and thereby, designed and tested a keyboard successfully.The method suggested by this study may be summed up as follows;Characters on the keyboard shall be displayed on a small LCD, and the displayed characters shall conform to the codes corresponding to those generated by the keyboard circuit and then, linked to the computer to be operated in the same way as the conventional ones. A separate language selection key will allow you to select your desire language, and then, the characters on the keyboard will be displayed and arranged for the target language. Since the language desired by user is databased, he or she can install as much as desired, while every language is supported.After all, this study suggested the ways to implement and use a multi-language input device keyboard, while presenting a new input mode which could not be implemented with the conventional keyboards.
