유아의 사회정서 행동문제와 어머니 관련변인 구조모형분석： 어머니 양육효능감 매개변인을 중심으로 = Children’s Social-emotional Behavior Problems and Maternal Related Variables by Mediating Parenting Efficacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The current study examined the effects of SES, maternal depression and spouse support on social-emotional behavior problems of preschoolers by mediating parenting efficacy. Mother-preschooler 357 dyads participated in this study. A theoretically derived structural equation model was tested to examine the indirect paths from way of the mediator variable, parenting efficacy, and the direct paths from SES, maternal depression and spouse l support to parenting efficacy. Support was found for a model that identified parenting efficacy as a mediator of the relationship between SES, maternal depression, spouse support and children's social-emotional behavior problems. Results have implications for providing services through Parent Education programs that are aimed at alleviating maternal depression and enhancing parenting efficacy.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 어머니 양육효능감을 매개로 SES, 어머니 우울, 남편지지가 유아의 사회정서 행동문제(공격성, 과잉행동, 주의집중, 자기통제)에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 서울시에 소재한 어린이집에 다니는 만 3-5세 357명의 유아와 어머니가 본 연구에 참여하였다. 연구결과, SES가 낮을수록 어머니의 우울이 높았으며, 남편의 지지도 적었고, 양육효능감인 부모역할효능감과 자기효능감도 낮았으며, 이러한 관계는 유아 사회정서 행동문제로 이어져 공격성과 과잉행동은 높아지는 결과로, 주의집중과 자기통제는 낮아지는 결과로 이어졌다. 또한 어머니의 우울이 높을수록 남편지지가 낮을수록 어머니의 양육효능감인 부모역할효능감과 자기효능감이 낮았고, 이는 다시 공격성과 과잉행동이 높아지는 결과로, 또 주의집중과 자기통제는 낮아지는 결과로 이어졌다. 이러한 결과들은 어머니 양육효능감이 SES, 어머니의 우울, 남편지지와 유아의 사회정서 행동문제 간에 완전한 매개역할을 하고 있음을 보여주며, 양육효능감이 자녀양육, 부모자녀관계와 유아의 사회정서 행동문제 간에서 중재역할을 할 수 있음을 입증해주는 결과이기에 의미가 있다.
