1748년 제10차 무진통신사(戊辰通信使) 의원필담(醫員筆談)의 성격 변천 연구 -『대려필어(對麗筆語)』와 『조선필담(朝鮮筆談)』을 중심으로- = A study on the change of character in medical conversation by writing of 1748 -written around the "Dae-ryeo-pil-ur(對麗筆語)" and "Cho-sun-pil-dam(朝鮮筆談)"-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1748년의 통신사 의원필담집은 내용에 따라 순수 의학적 내용의 필담집과 다양한 관심사를 담고 있는 필담집으로 나눌 수 있다. 後者에는 조선에 대한 정보 수집과 조사라는 일본 측의 의도가 다분히 개입되어 있다. 이를 잘 보여주는 적절한 자료가 칸 도우하쿠[菅道伯]의 『대려필어』와 노로 지쓰오[野呂實夫]의 『조선필담』이다. 이들의 특성 중 `담화 주체의 다양화`는 정보 수집과 조사 목적의 강화를 위한 시도라는 측면에서 파악할 수 있다. 즉, 일본 측 의원들의 목적이 치험례(治驗例) 확인 등 통신사행 초기의 순수한 의학적 관심을 넘어, 일본 측의 의도에 의해 정보 조사의 측면이 강화되었기 때문인 것이다. `서양 문물과 의술의 도입에 대한 언급`에서는 서양의학의 영향 하에 점점 자신감을 확보하는 일본 의원들의 태도를 확인할 수 있다. 반면, 조선에 대해서도 약재 조사 등 기존의 경로를 통한 정밀한 조사를 병행하고 있었다. 이에 대한 조선 의원의 태도는 정보의 유출에 대해 유연한 태도를 지니고 있었다고 할 수 있다. `필담 대화 방식의 변화`는 일본 의원의 축적된 자신감의 표출로 파악할 수 있다. 특히 대화가 문답에서 토론으로 변화한 것이 이를 傍證하며, 이에 따라 필담에 참여했던 수행원들에 대한 병증 진단과 처방도 가능했던 것이라고 할 수 있다.

`Pil-dam-chang-hwa-jib`(筆談唱和集, collection of conversation by writing about poetry or sentences) which was remained in Japan through the dispatching of Tong-sin(通信) mission belong to the Chosun(朝鮮) dynasty is a valuable historical records directly to verify sincere relationships with Korea and Japan in the past. Medical conversation of Tong-sin-sa(通信使) in 1748 is to be classified into two ways. It is a purity medical contents and a diversity concerns. The latter is contents that many intention of Japan. It is in collecting information and investigation to Chosun(朝鮮). `Dae-ryeo-pil-ur(對麗筆語)` and `Cho-sun-pil-dam (朝鮮筆談)` are pertinent information of the such circumstances. Diversification of main agent to talk is give the method a go incollecting information and investigation. because of Japan`s original plan is tighten up investigating information. but the previous Japanese oriental doctor have to gain medical experience in Chosun(朝鮮). Japanese oriental doctor go into details to Western civilization and the introduction of medical technology. We saw check the attitude of Japanese oriental doctor that have confidence to undergo various influences in Western medicine. on the other hand, They are side by side with detailed study to Chosun(朝鮮). It is go through existing Way to medicinai stuff etc. Meanwhile oriental doctor of Chosun(朝鮮) has flexible attitude about leak confidential information. the change of character in medical conversation by writing of 1748 meaning of expression that accumulate self-confidence by Japanese oriental doctor. specially clear evidence is question and answer change toward discussion. Consequently, between the two countries oriental doctor is possible prescription for following. After considering with the all factors above, the first half of 18th century`s medical conversation materials are certificated remarkably valuable materials to the cultural history around the physician at that time.
