한시에 표상된 근대의 풍경 -정만조의 일본 기행 한시를 중심으로- = A study on the modern scenery in Jung-Manjo`s chinese poem

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The first touring for Japan was established with 110 by KyoungSung Daily from April 11 to May 10 in 1909. The group was composed with a various classes like officialdom, business men, etc. The only goal which was organized by Japan was to begin Pro-Japan by showing the Japanese civilization. Jung-Manjo who was a member of the group wrote a chinese poem about this tour in 『Mujungjongo(茂亭存稿)』. This paper tried to reach the one of a modern consciousness. In the poem, it can be awared that Jung-Manjo recognized Japan as a civilized nation and was overwhelmed by its development. He thought that the civilization is organized by an education, particularly, by enforcing the loyalty which is one of the practical ethics in Confucianism. So, he insisted that Chosun`s civilization can be archived by enforcing the education of ethics (the practical ethics in Confucianism) appointing talents, and improving the relationship with Japan. Moreover, He thought that Chosun was in need of partnership with Japan for the peace of the east asia. He executed his thought by performing exchanges with Japanese. Jung-Manjo thought that Japan was the ideal model for Chosun`s civilization, and endevored to come into close relation with Japan confirming the same race and letter.
