유아의 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 양육태도, 기질,인지능력, 사회적 능력 간의 구조모형 분석 = A Structural Sample of the Effects of Rearing, Temperament, Cognitive Ability, and Social Competence on Children's Behavioral Problems

This study aimed to investigate the structure of young children's emotional and behavioral problems and their related variables (rearing attitude, social competence, cognitive ability, temperament) through two hundred six children between 4 and 5 years old and their parents.
Results found in this study were as follows: the children's emotional and behavioral problems were directly influenced by their social competence. And rearing attitudes, cognitive abilities, and temperament had indirect effects on the children's emotional and behavioral problems through their social competence.
The adaptability factor of temperament had direct effects on the children externalizing behavioral problems. The cooperation factor of social competence had direct effects on all the children's behavioral problems.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 만4세-5세 유아 206명을 대상으로 부모의 양육태도와 유아의 기질, 인지능력, 사회적 능력이 유아의 문제행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 유아의 문제행동과 관련변인간의 관계는 어떠한지를 밝히고자 하였다. 분석 결과 유아의 문제행동은 유아의 사회적 능력으로부터 직접적인 영향을 받으며, 부모의 양육태도와 유아의 기질, 인지능력의 간접적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아의 기질은 유아의 사회적 능력과 부모의 양육태도에, 부모의 양육태도는 유아의 사회적 능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 인지능력 역시 유아의 사회적 능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부모의 양육태도와 유아의 기질, 인지능력은 유아의 사회적 능력을 매개변인으로 하여 유아의 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 측정 하위변인별로는 문제행동의 측정변인중 하나인 외현적 문제행동이 유아 기질의 측정변인중 하나인 적응성으로부터 직접적인 영향을 받고 있으며, 전체문제행동은 사회적 능력의 측정변인 중 하나인 협조성의 직접적 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.
