기독인 부모의 영성과 영성형성 = The spirituality of the Christian parent and spiritual formation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Family is the most significant context of education, in which parents'
characters have a strong influence on their children's ways of living and
being. Therefore, they are said in the Christian education that family is
the place at which the most important education occurs and that there
grows the awareness of a parent as a teacher. One of the issues
emerging is the spirituality of the Christian parent as a teacher.
This article explores the spirituality and spiritual formation of the
Christian parent and discipline methodologies for the spiritual formation
in detail. It is consisted of the following three parts.
In the first chapter, the significance of the parents' characters is
illuminated in that their influence upon their children is analyzed.
Difference of their influences derived from difference in their ways of
believing and parenting in spite of their identical confessions of the
Protestant doctrine, is analyzed.
In the second chapter, the elements constituting spirituality and
spiritual formation of the Christian parent are reviewed. Reviewing
definitions of spirituality, definitions of Christian spirituality are analyzed
and formulated. The elements of the spirituality are suggested on the
basis of 'the structure of Shema(Deuteronomy 6：1-9).' They include the vertical element signifying love and faith in the relationship between I
and God, the horizontal element designating faith education in the
relationship between I and my children, and the integrating element
showing the kingdom of God cross the generations in the relationships
among God, I, and my children. With the three elements, identities and
tasks of the Christian parent are formulated.
In the third chapter, the discipline methodologies for their spiritual
formation are discussed in depth. Nature of spiritual formation, methodologies
in spiritual discipline influencing spiritual formation, and outstanding
methodological features in Korean spiritual formation are explored. And
skills and methodologies of the Protestant spiritual discipline for the
Christian parent's spiritual formation are suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

가정은 중요한 교육의 장이며, 부모의 자질은 가정 구성원들의 인격과 삶에 강한 영향을
미친다. 이러한 이유에서 기독교교육학에서는 가정을 가장 중요한 교육이 이루어지는 곳으
로, 또한 교사로서의 부모의 자질과 역할을 강조해오고 있다. 근래에 와서 대두되는 하나의
주제가 부모의 자질로서의 영성이다.
본 연구에서 기독교 가정에서의 기독인 부모의 영성과 영성형성, 그리고 구체적인 훈련
방안들들 모색하게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 다음과 같이 구성되어있다.
첫 장에서는, 부모의 자질의 중요성을 자녀에게 미치는 영향을 통해 찾아 볼 것이다. 특
히 같은 개신교 가정이지만 부모가 갖는 신앙과 양육태도에 따라 자녀에게 다르게 미치는
모습 그리고 세대, 문화를 초월하여 신앙의 영향이 어떻게 후손들에게 미치는 가를 사례를
통해 알아본다.
두 번째 장에서는 기독인 부모의 영성요소들을 찾는다. 일반적인 영성이해와 더불어 기
독교 영성을 정의하고 기독인 부모가 형성해야할 영성의 요소를 영성교육학자가 제시하는
성서 ‘Shema의 구조’(신 6：1-9)를 기초로 하여 찾아본다. 그것은 수직(나와 하나님: 사랑
과 신앙), 수평(나와 자녀: 신앙교육) 그리고 통합(하나님－나－자녀: 세대를 통해 이어지는
하나님의 나라)이다. 이 셋의 관계에서의 부모의 정체성과 과제를 찾는다.
세 번째 장에서는 기독인 부모의 영성형성과 훈련방안을 모색한다.
영성형성의 개념과 가능성, 그리고 영성형성에 지대한 영향을 미치는 영성훈련, 그리고
일반영성유형과 한국 개신교인의 영성유형을 찾아본다. 그리고 한국 개신교 가정에서 부모
의 영성형성을 도울 수 있는 영성훈련에 대한 방향과 실제들을 제안한다.
