In this study, the noise reduction effect was investigated by predicting the transmission loss by changing the structure of the soundproof wall to maximize the noise reduction effect. Through the combination of commercially available sound insulation plate materials, it was possible to derive a combination with a high transmission loss for each frequency band. In order to effectively reduce soundproof walls for road traffic noise with various sound sources, it is judged that a method of improving transmission loss by investigating the frequency band of interest and changing the structure of the soundproof wall accordingly is necessary.
