The purpose of this article is to understand the grammar information of the Pyojun Korean Dictionary through the metalanguage used in the grammar information. The grammar information of the Pyojun Korean Dictionary can be divided into seven types: combination (attached to the front/back of X), distribution (used before/after X), cooperation (used with X), consstruction (used in construction of X), form (used in the form of X), component (used X as the subject/object), and sentence pattern (used with X sentence/form). These seven types of grammar information were able to confirm the marked differences in the part-of-speech information of the heading word.
Combination information and distribution information have the same point as information related to the distribution of headings through metalanguages such as "front" and "back." However, the difference between morphological and syntactic composition can be confirmed through other metalanguages such as 'attached' and 'used'. This is confirmed by the fact that while the majority of the headings of the combination information are dependent morpheme such as josa, eomi, and affix, the majority of the headings of the distribution information are dependent nouns, determiner and so-called adnominal nouns, and post-NP nouns, which constitute a phrase before and after the headings. Form information is generally an irregular sequences word what we call the josa combination words or the eomi combination words, and although it looks similar to the combination information, it differs in that it shows constraints in the combination process. Cooperation information and construction information are also common in that they are information involving multiple units, but there is a relative difference in that cooperation information has a correspondence relationship between units, costruction information shows that the constructions of multiple units form a conventional meaning. Additional discussions on correspondence relationships, conventional meanings, and etc. should be to distinguish them clearly. Component information is about information what can be used as a subject and object related with headings, limited to predicate. Sentence pattern information literally shows what kind of sentence a heading is used in, such as negative, and interrogatives, and, imperative sentences. It is the grammatical information of words involved in identifying the sentence patterns, such as adverbs, eomi, and interrogative pronouns.
It was considered that consistency in the grammar information description method could be promoted to help understand grammar information if we wanted to understand the grammar information of the Pyojun Korean dictionary depnending on metalanguage. It would be an effort to have the uniformity of expressions related to negative, sentence patterns, to have the uniformity of the format when presenting multiple Xs, or when presenting multiple grammatical information.
