This study examined in-service teachers’ educational data use, data literacy levels, and differences in data literacy according to data use frequency. A survey was conducted with 93 in-service teachers, and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that more than half of the teachers used educational data no more than twice per semester. Teachers mainly used assessment and learner data and reported difficulties in finding relevant data and insufficient data literacy. Overall data literacy levels were moderate, with lower scores in data collection and management. Teachers who used data more frequently demonstrated significantly higher data literacy across all subdomains. These findings suggest that teachers’ data literacy is closely related to actual data use experiences and highlight the need for practical support focusing on data exploration and use.
