니체의 경험철학 ‘힘에의 의지’와 ‘몸’을 중심으로 - = Nietzsche’s Philosophy of Experience - A Study on the ‘Will to Power’ and the ‘Body’ -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 니체를 서양 전통 철학과 기독교의 절대적 가치 체계에 대한 비판을통해 ‘힘에의 의지’와 ‘몸’을 중심으로 독창적인 철학 체계를 제시한 철학자로 재발굴하고자 하는 연구이다. 니체는 이원론적 세계관을 기반으로 한 형이상학적 전통을거부하며, 삶과 경험에 기반한 철학을 우리에게 제시하고자 했다. 이러한 니체의 철학을 통해, 세계는 서양 전통 철학의 이원론적 세계관에 의해 두 쪽으로 갈라진 세계가 아니라 힘에의 의지로 충만하며 끊임없는 투쟁이 연속되는 세계가 되고, 이 세계 안에서 인간은 육체와 정신으로 나뉘지 않은 몸으로서 세계와의 관계 속에서 살아가는 존재가 된다. 니체가 자기 철학으로 제시하는 삶은 몸으로서 살아가는 인간이 세계와의 관계 속에서 힘에의 의지에 따라 해석하고 판단하며 세계를 지배하기도혹은 지배당하기도 하는 삶, 다시 말해 체험으로서의 삶, 즉 ‘경험’이다. 따라서 본논문에서는 니체 철학이 ‘경험철학’으로 규정될 수 있음에 대해 논해보고자 한다.

This paper is a study that reinterprets Nietzsche as a philosopher who, through his critique of Western traditional philosophy and the Christianity, presented a new philosophical framework centered on the “will to power” and the “body”. Nietzsche rejected the metaphysical tradition grounded in a dualistic worldview and sought to present to us a philosophy based on life and experience. Through this Nietzschean philosophy, the world becomes not a realm split into two by the dualistic worldview of Western traditional philosophy, but an experiential world filled with the will to power and characterized by continuous struggle; and within this experiential world, human beings live in relation to the world as bodies that are not divided into mind and flesh. The life that Nietzsche proposes as his philosophy is a life in which the human being, as a body, interprets and judges in accordance with the will to power within its relation to the world— sometimes dominating and sometimes being dominated by it; that is, “experience”. Therefore, this paper seeks to show that Nietzsche’s philosophy should be defined as a “philosophy of experience”.
