다문화인의 감정적 격동에 대한 이해를 통한 독자의 서사적 정체성 발달 = Development of the reader's narrative identity through understanding the emotional turmoil of multicultural individuals

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 2000년대 이후에 발표된 한국 다문화 서사에 표상된 다문화인의 감정적 격동 양상과 독자가 다문화인의 감정적 격동에 대한 이해를 통해 ‘서사적 정체성’을 발달시키는 양상을 논의하는 목적에서 이루어졌다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해, 다문화인들이 겪는 주변화와 신원 상실, 언어/문화의 차이와 소통 실패, 불안의식, 대물림된 트라우마와 멜랑콜리아, 제3의 공간 창조를 통한 상처 치유 등을 통해 다문화인의 정체성 혼란과 감정적 격동, 그리고 다문화인의 정체성 혼란과 감정적 격동에 대한 이해와 해석을 통한 독자의 서사적 정체성 발달 등을 논의하였다.
독자는 다문화인의 서사에 표상된 차별과 배제의 시선, 언어와 문화의 차이, 대물림되는 트라우마, 주변화되는 존재성 등을 경험하는 다문화인의 감정적 격동, 그리고 다문화인을 대상화하는 가치 체계를 해석함으로써, 자신과 타자에 대해 성찰하면서 정체성을 발달시킬 수 있을 것이다.

This study examines the emotional turmoil of multicultural individuals represented in Korean multicultural narratives since the 2000s and how readers develop their "narrative identity" by understanding these experiences. To this end, the research discusses identity confusion and emotional distress arising from marginalization, trauma, and linguistic barriers, alongside the healing potential of the "third space." Ultimately, by interpreting the discriminatory gazes and value systems that objectify multicultural individuals, readers can reflect on themselves and others, fostering a more profound development of their own narrative identity.
