    Purpose The purpose of this study was to deeply explore the sense of responsibility and psychological burden experienced while performing the roles of a Taekwondo professor and coach, to understand the process of role change and adaptation, and to suggest practical support measures.
    Method The researcher, a Taekwondo professor and coach, engaged in self-reflection through autoethnography, exploring Taekwondo and its cultural meaning. Drawing on diaries, records, and reflections, the researcher in-depth analyzed the process of internal beliefs and values ​​shift.
    Results First, the sense of responsibility and psychological pressure experienced by the researcher during the dual role period was intense, with persistent anxiety, tension, and self-criticism stemming from the weight and expectations of the roles. Second, the role conflict and conflict experienced due to dual roles led to psychological fatigue and identity confusion, highlighting the need for role redefinition to overcome these challenges. Third, the personal and professional growth experienced through role performance led to self-understanding, inner strength, and a stronger sense of responsibility. This, in the long term, contributed to enhanced role performance and job satisfaction. Fourth, considering the limitations and difficulties associated with role-jumping, it was confirmed that support from family and colleagues plays a crucial role in relieving stress and ensuring the sustainability of role performance.
    Conclusion Self-reflection and the establishment of a support system are crucial for effectively managing the psychological pressure and conflicts experienced during role-jumping, thereby ensuring ongoing personal and professional growth and stability.
