유아교육 현장에서의 유아 경제·금융교육 실천 경험 탐색 = Exploring practical experiences of economic and financial education in early childhood education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아교육 현장에서의 경제·금융교육 실천 경험 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 원장 4명과 교사 4명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(Focus Group Interview, FGI)를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아 경제·금융교육의 출발점은 원장과 교사의 과거-지금의 경계를 넘나들며 생성되었다. 둘째, 원장과 교사를 둘러싼 제약들로 인해 유아 경제·금융교육의 실천과 지속에 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 셋째, 유아 경제·금융교육의 내용은 환경과 함께 생성되고 있었다. 넷째, 유아 경제·금융교육은 놀이와 체험을 통해 유아의 삶의 맥락 속에서 실천되고 있었다. 본 연구는 현재 유아교육 현장에서 원장과 교사가 실천하고 있는 경제·금융교육 경험을 토대로 향후 유아 경제·금융교육 실천의 방향을 모색하는 데 의의가 있다.

This study aims to explore the practical experiences of economic and financial education in early childhood education. To this end, focus group interview (FGI) were conducted with four principals and four teachers. The findings are as follows. First, the starting point for early childhood economic and financial education was shaped by bridging the past and present experiences of the principals and teachers. Second, the constraints faced by the principals and teachers made it difficult to implement and sustain early childhood economic and financial education. Third, the content of early childhood economic and financial education was developed in alignment with the surrounding environment.
Fourth, early childhood economic and financial education was implemented within the context of children's lives through play and experiential activities. This study is significant in that it explores future directions for early childhood economic and financial education based on the experiences of principals and teachers in early childhood education settings.
