학습자 요구 분석을 통한 대학 융합교육 내실화 방안 연구 = A Study on Strategies for Enhancing the Quality of Interdisciplinary Education in Higher Education through an Analysis of Learner Needs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학습자 요구 분석을 바탕으로 대학 융합교육의 내실화 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상은 국내 대학의 EU 융합전공이며, 재학생 39명을 대상으로 한 설문조사와 재학생 및 졸업생 6명을 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 병행한 혼합연구 방법을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 교수진의 전문성과 밀착형 소통은 전공 만족도를 견인하는 핵심 요인으로 나타났다. 반면 교과목 다양성의 부족, 계절학기 미개설, 캠퍼스 간 강의 운영의 비효율성 등 학사 운영 측면에서의 구조적 한계가 확인되었다. 또한 대외활동 참여 의향은 높으나 정보 전달 체계와 실무 연계성의 미비로 인해 실제 참여율이 제한되는 현상이 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 수요자 중심의 심화 교과 확대, 온·오프라인 하이브리드 학사 체계 구축, 실무 연계형 비교과 프로그램 강화, 정보 전달 시스템의 일원화를 주요 개선 방안으로 제시한다. 본 연구는 융합전공의 질적 고도화를 위한 정책적·실천적 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

This study aims to explore strategies for enhancing the quality of interdisciplinary education in higher education through an analysis of learner needs. Focusing on an undergraduate EU Studies convergence program, the study employed a mixed-methods approach, including a survey of 39 enrolled students and in-depth interviews with six current students and graduates. The findings indicate that faculty expertise and close student–faculty interaction serve as key drivers of overall program satisfaction. However, structural limitations were identified in academic administration, including limited course diversity, the absence of seasonal offerings, and scheduling inefficiencies across campuses. Although students demonstrated strong willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, gaps in information delivery and practical linkage hindered actual engagement. Based on these findings, the study proposes expanding advanced course offerings, establishing a hybrid on/offline academic system, strengthening practice-oriented extracurricular programs, and streamlining information dissemination channels. This research provides practical and policy-oriented implications for improving the sustainability and quality of interdisciplinary programs in higher education.
