다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is to illuminate the regional literary nature and value of Bo.Haedong-ijeok(補海東異蹟, Supplement to Marvelous Tales of Korea). This article first introduces the Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) collection of Bo.Haedong-ijeok. Following this, analyzes <Bo.Muju-Kimseon(補茂朱金仙)>, which is uniquely included in the JBNU collection.
Yi-jae Hwang Yun-seok's(黃胤錫, 1729-1791) Bo.Haedong-ijeok has previously been known solely through the Korea University (KU) collection, which was thought to be the unique extant copy. The Bo.Haedong-ijeok housed in the Jeonbuk National University Central Library was transcribed relatively later than the KU version Notably, the end of the JBNU collection includes a new figure, <Bo.Muju-Kimseon>, which is absent from the KU copy. It could be confirmed that the work of Haedong ijeokbo was not concluded but was an ongoing effort to collect and add new stories, actively recording tales from the vicinity of the author's own Honam region.
