This study analyzes the structure and content of dance education within the International Baccalaureate (IB) curric ulum and explores its relevance for Korean dance education. Through qualitative document analysis of IB official texts across the PYP, MYP, and DP, the study reviewed educational goals, teaching–learning structures, and assess ment methods. The findings show that IB dance emphasizes an integrated framework of composition, analysis, and performance, a cyclical inquiry model, multicultural perspectives through world dance, and performance-based assessment. These features suggest practical directions for improving Korea’s practice- and outcome-centered dance education. The study recommends composition-focused teaching, integration of theory and practice, multicultural expansion, and enhanced performance assessment, highlighting the potential to adapt IB philosophy and structure to the Korean curriculum in creative and practical ways.
