돌봄 서비스 종사자의 성격 특성이 이용자 만족과 추천 의도에 미치는 구조적 영향 = The Structural Impact of Care Service Workers’ Personality Traits on Client Satisfaction and Recommendation Intentions

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초고령사회로 진입한 한국에서 돌봄 서비스 종사자의 성격 특성이 서비스 이용자의 만족과 추천 의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 돌봄 서비스 종사자를 요양보호사와 간병인으로 한정하고, 성격 요인으로 내향성, 개방성, 활동성을 설정하였다. 국내에서 해당 서비스를 이용한 경험이 있는 소비자 309명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 내향성은 만족과 추천 의도에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 개방성과 활동성은 만족과 추천 의도 모두에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 만족은 추천 의도에 강한 영향을 주어 성격 요인이 직접적･간접적으로 서비스 성과에 작용함을 확인하였다. 추가로 다중집단분석 결과, 대부분의 경로에서 집단 간 차이는 없었으나, 내향성이 만족에 미치는 영향에서만 요양보호사 집단이 간병인 집단보다 더 강한 부정적 효과를 보였다. 본 연구는 돌봄 서비스 맥락에서 성격 특성의 중요성을 실증적으로 밝히고, 향후 인력 관리 및 서비스 품질 제고를 위한 실무적 시사점을 제시한다.

This study investigates the impact of caregiver personality traits on client satisfaction and recommendation intentions in the context of Korea’s rapidly aging society. The analysis focused on care service workers, specifically nursing care workers and caregivers, and examined three personality traits: introversion, openness, and activeness. A survey was conducted with 309 clients who had used such services, and the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results revealed that introversion had negative effects on both satisfaction and recommendation intentions, while openness and activeness showed significant positive effects. In addition, satisfaction strongly influenced recom- mendation intentions, indicating that personality traits affect service outcomes both directly and indirectly. Multi-group analysis further showed that most paths were consistent across groups, but the effect of introversion on satisfaction was more strongly negative among nursing care workers compared to caregivers. These findings highlight the importance of personality traits in the care service context and provide practical implications for personnel management and strategies to improve service quality.
