    Modern society faces complex and intertwined crises such as climate change, resource depletion, and growing inequality. In response to these challenges, achieving a sustainable society requires more efforts than those of a single entity. Accordingly, the importance of an industry-academia-research collaborative education model has become prominent. As corporate Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) management and social value creation have emerged as key agendas, universities are actively developing regular courses to reflect these changes. This study explores how the industry-academia-research collaborative structure functions as a practical platform for sustainability management and ESG education, focusing on the case of an Innovation Platform for a Sustainable Society. It also examines how the outcomes of such collaborations contribute to the creation of social, environmental, and economic value. The research methods included a literature review, case analysis, keyword frequency analysis of project themes, in-depth interviews, and expert consultations. The findings indicate that Problem-based learning (PBL) based on industry-academia-research collaboration functions effectively as a practical platform for sustainability management and ESG education, demonstrating that university education can make substantial contributions to addressing corporate challenges and social issues. Furthermore, the analysis of the Innovation Platform for a Sustainable Society reveals that such collaboration can evolve beyond a technology-centered model into a cooperative educational framework aimed at solving social problems and promoting a sustainable society, which underscores the significance of this study.
