국문 초록 (Abstract)

학생들의 사회정서역량 증진에 대한 필요성이 높아진 가운데 교육부에서는 2025년부터 학교 교육과정에 한국형 사회정서교육 프로그램을 도입하고 있다. 이 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학 생을 대상으로 이 프로그램의 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 경기도 소재 초등학교 6학년 학생 169명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하고, 한국형 사회정서교육 프로그램의 효과를 사회정서역량, 우울, 그릿, 마인드셋 측면에서 사전․사후검사의 변화를 통해 확인하였다. 한국형 사회정서교육 프로그램의 효과에 대한 분석 결과, 사회정서역량에 서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였고 우울에서는 고위험군 학생들에게 선별적인 효과가 나타났다. 그릿, 마인드셋에서는 유의미한 효과가 확인되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 한국형 사 회정서교육 프로그램이 일부 효과성을 나타냈으나 효과성을 확장하기 위해서는 내용적․구 조적 보완이 필요함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

With growing recognition of the importance of enhancing students’ social and emotional competence, the Ministry of Education in Korea is introducing the Korean-style Social and Emotional Learning (K-SEL) program into the national curriculum in 2025. This study aimed to examine the effects of the K-SEL program on upper elementary school students. A total of 169 sixth-grade students from an elementary school in Gyeonggi Province were divided into experimental and control groups, and the effectiveness of the K-SEL program was verified through pre- and post-tests focusing on social and emotional competence, depression, grit, and mindset. The results indicated that the K-SEL program showed statistically significant effects on social and emotional competence. Regarding depression, a selective effect was observed for students in the high-risk group, while no significant effects were confirmed for grit or mindset. These findings suggest that although the K-SEL program demonstrated some effectiveness, content and structural refinements are necessary to expand its effectiveness.
