    Modern society faces complex environmental issues such as the climate crisis, ecosystem destruction, and resource depletion, requiring fundamental changes in human lives and society as a whole. Environmental education can play a crucial role in achieving real-world change in these situations, and therefore ongoing research is essential. From this perspective, the current state of environmental education in Korea remains largely focused on fragmented environmental experiences or knowledge acquisition, with a paucity of research systematically analyzing its discourse structure. Therefore, this study conducted semantic network analysis and LDA topic modeling on 376 domestic academic papers on environmental education published between 2010 and 2025. The analysis identified "environmental education," "ecological education," and "sustainability" as core concepts, and identified five key themes: implementation-based programs, philosophical approaches, emotional and sensitivity education, policy and curriculum implementation, and implementation effectiveness at the elementary school level. These were categorized into three clusters: "Practice and Application-Oriented," "Values ​​and Philosophy-Oriented," and "Policy and System-Oriented," demonstrating the multi-layered nature of environmental education discourse. These results suggest the need to restructure environmental education beyond activities focused on protecting and preserving nature into an integrated, transformative learning system encompassing emotions, values, behavior, and systems.
