치위생학과 학생들의 보건의료팀 팀워크 역량 평가 루브릭 개발 = Development of a rubric to assess dental hygiene studentsʼ ability to collaborate with healthcare teams

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구의 배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 치위생학과 학생들의 전문직간 협업역량을 평가하기 위한 도구로써, 특히 보건의료팀 팀워크 역량 평가 루브릭을 개발하고자 수행되었다. 치과위생사는 다양한 보건의료직종과 협업하여 환자의 구강 및 전신건강을 관리하고 환자의 문제를 해결해야 하기에 협업역량이 중요하다. 그러나, 치위생학 교육에서 이를 적절히 평가할 수 있는 평가도구는 부족한 실정이기에 본 연구에서는 보건의료팀 협업 역량 관련 문헌을근거로 치위생 팀워크 역량 평가기준을 마련하는 것을 목표로 하였다.
연구방법: 치위생학과 학생들의 보건의료팀 협업역량에 관한 국내외 문헌을 고찰하여 핵심역량과 행동지표를 도출하였다. 루브릭 개발 절차에 따라 6단계로 수행하였으며 기대하는 수준에 대한 명확한 정의, 핵심개념 결정, 루브릭의 유형결정, 핵심개념들에 대한 명확한 정의, 각 요소에 대한 수행준거 수립, 척도 점수를 개발하였다. 문헌고찰을 통해 치과위생사에게 요구되는 전문직간 협업 4가지 핵심역량(가치와 윤리, 역할과 책임, 의사소통, 팀워크)을 정의하고, 이 중 ‘팀워크’를 핵심개념으로 선정한 후 10개의 평가지표를 구성하였다. 10개의 평가지표는 지식·기술·태도의 영역으로 분류하였다.
결과: 가치와 윤리, 역학과 책임, 의사소통, 팀워크에 대한 정의와 구체적인 행동지침을 제시하였다. 문헌고찰을통해 정의한 보건의료팀 팀워크 역량을 치위생 역량에 맞도록 수정한 후 치위생 협업 역량으로 정의하였다. 팀워크 중심의 10개 평가지표를 선정하고 영역별로 지식 3개, 기술 5개, 태도 2개로 분류하였다. 루브릭 평가안 개발을 위하여 역량학습목표를 제시하였고, 10개의 지표를 탁월함, 발전 중, 초보자의 수행준거로 평가하기 위하여각 지표마다 구체적 행동기술을 포함하도록 구성하였다.
결론: 본 연구를 통해 개발된 루브릭은 치위생 교육현장에서 학생들의 보건의료팀 팀워크 지식, 기술, 태도를 평가하는데 활용할 수 있으며 교수피드백 및 자가평가서로써 교육적 가치가 있다고 판단된다. 개발된 루브릭 평가도구는 학생의 자기평가 및 교육자의 교수설계에도 활용 가능하며, 향후 전문가 타당도와 신뢰도 검증을 통해 전문직간 교육 프로그램과 연계한 적용 연구를 시행하고 도구의 효과성을 평가할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Background: This study aimed to develop assessment criteria for teamwork competencies centered on dental hygiene practice, based on literature on collaborative competencies within healthcare teams.
Methods: A review of domestic and international literature on collaborative competencies within healthcare teams was conducted to identify core competencies and behavioral indicators. The rubric development process consisted of six steps: clearly defining the expected level, determining core concepts, determining the rubric type, operationalizing the core concepts, establishing performance criteria for each element, and developing scale scores. Through a literature review, we defined four core competencies for interprofessional collaboration required of dental hygienists (values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, communication, and teamwork).
Of these, "teamwork" was selected as the core concept and 10 evaluation indicators were developed. These 10 evaluation indicators were categorized into the domains of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
Results: Definitions and specific behavioral guidelines for the four core competencies for interprofessional collaboration were presented. The healthcare teamwork competencies defined through the literature review were modified to align with dental hygiene competencies and defined as dental hygiene collaboration competencies. Ten evaluation indicators centered on teamwork were selected and categorized into three knowledge, five skills, and two attitudes. Competency learning objectives were presented to develop a rubric assessment plan. Each of the 10 indicators was designed to include specific behavioral skills, allowing for evaluation at the levels of excellence, development, and beginner.
Conclusion: The rubric developed through this study can be used to assess students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding teamwork in healthcare teams in dental hygiene education settings. It is considered to have educational value as a tool for teaching feedback and self-assessment. Future research is needed to assess the tool's effectiveness by linking it to interprofessional education programs through expert validation of its validity and reliability.
