This study aims to explore the decline in golf participation after the pandemic and identify strategies for its popularization by comparing it with park golf, a senior-friendly leisure activity. Text mining techniques—including word frequency, semantic network, and sentiment analysis—were applied to online documents and news articles on golf and park golf from June 2023 to May 2025. Golf was associated with professionalism and competition, while park golf reflected accessibility and community orientation. Sentiment analysis showed golf linked to achievement, and park golf to emotional positivity. Findings suggest park golf's strengths—such as inclusiveness and senior-friendliness—offer valuable insights. Adopting these traits could help golf become more accessible and socially valuable.
