This study was conducted to evaluate the overall level of public relations practices of firefighters. Data were collected from 320 firefighters working in Province G between [Month Day, Year] and [Month Day, Year] using a survey consisting of 16 items: eight on general characteristics and eight on PR activities. Responses were measured on a 5-point Likert scale ranging from “strongly disagree (1)” to “strongly agree (5).” Reliability analysis indicated high internal consistency (Cronbach’s α = .929). Results showed that PR activities were generally at an average level, but areas such as policy promotion, employee recruitment, internal PR, integrity promotion, and responses to false reports were relatively low, indicating the need for improvement.
Additionally, differences in PR activities were observed according to age, years of service, position, rank, and marital status, suggesting the necessity of tailored PR strategies.
