소설 『The Education of Little Tree』 에 나타난 AI 시대 교육적 의미와 교과교육의 시사점 탐색 = Exploring the educational meaning and implications of subject education in the AI era in the novel 『The Education of Little Tree』

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of AI-era education in Forest Carter’s 『The Education of Little Tree』 and to explore implications for subject education. This novel provides the following implications for subject education. It is possible to improve metacognition through problem-solving, develop situational intelligence through practical application of knowledge, and learn the meaning of experience through reflection. It is possible to develop an educational connoisseurship through modeling of artistic experience, and to seek self-reflection and improvement through self-evaluation using reflection notes. It also enhances students’ critical thinking and inquiry skills in subject education and suggests the importance of acquiring methodological knowledge.

In addition, through subject education, community capacity can be cultivated through consideration, achievement motivation can be improved through experience of success, and the meaning of cooperation can be awakened through mutual respect and shared responsibility. It suggests that through interdisciplinary convergence, personality can be cultivated, moderation, gifts exchanged, and communication skills of mutual respect can be developed through I-message.

본 연구의 목적은 Forrest Carter의 『The Education of Little Tree』에 나타난 AI 시대 교육의 의미를 모색하고, 교과교육에 시사점을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이 소설은 교과교육에 다음과 같은 시사점을 제공한다. 문제 해결을 통해 메타 인지를 향상하고, 지식의 실제 적용을 통한 상황 지능을 개발하며, 성찰을 통해 경험의 의미를 학습할 수 있다. 예술적 경험에 대한 모델링을 통해 감상적 노련함을 개발하고, 자기 평가를 통해 자기성찰과 개선점을 모색할 수 있다. 또한 교과교육에서 학생의 비판적 사고력, 탐구 능력을 신장시키며, 방법적 지식 습득의 중요성을 시사한다.
또한 교과교육을 통해 배려를 통한 공동체 역량을 향상하고, 성공의 경험을 통한 성취동기 향상, 상호 존중과 공동 책임을 통해 협동의 의미를 일깨울 수 있다. 교과 간 융합을 통해 인성을 함양하고 절제, 나눔을 실천하며, 그리고 나 전달법을 통해 상호 존중의 의사소통 능력을 기를 수 있음을 시사한다.
