This study is purposed to get implications for micro-mobility design change directions on the basis of disruptive innovation concept. To explore the directions of E2W micro-mobility, reflected the result of the case study on the Chinese urban micro-mobility in usability scenes and technology of which derived from the disruptive innovations by several advance researchers. The situations discovered with the urban E2W micro-mobility looks similar to all countries including Korea in conflicting with current road and traffic systems of urban areas; the arbitrary usages with inappropriate speeds and dangerous maneuver for short routes and distances, it works as another negative factor which disrupt the micro-mobility themselves. Therefore, the design change direction can be summarized as those with versatility for rider age groups, structures for stability in city driving, and safety for both riders and pedestrians. Consequentially concluded the micro-mobility design is that should be developed under the universal design concepts.
