의열투쟁의 공간, 남대문역과 경성역 = A Space of Fierce Struggle, Namdaemun Station and Gyeongseong[Keijo, 京城] Station

Gyeongseong(Keijo, 京城) Station was the most compressed place to show the duality of railway and train stations. It is the closest point of colonial power and a place that transcends borders and regions. And it is a public space open to everyone, and more stringent monitoring than anywhere else is a dual space.
Gyeongseong Station was a space that transcended colonial Chosen and was the base of the independence movement connecting Seoul and the provinces, and China and the continent. It was a place that transcended borders through railroads and was an intersection connecting Seoul and the region. In other words, Gyeongseong Station was a space where people and goods gathered and intersect. Numerous independence activists, groups, guns and bombs passed Gyeongseong Station or gathered to create an 'incident'.
Gyeongseong Station was the best place as a stage for a febrile struggle to achieve the maximum effect with minimal sacrifice. Such a place did not change even after Gyeongseong Station was built in 1925. This can be confirmed once again through military fundraising activities in the mid-tolate 1920s, and the loyalty activities in the 1930s. Numerous resolutions and simulations took place in and around Gyeongseong Station.
