충청남도 영유아 교육기관 부모교육 현황 및 내실화 방안 기초연구 = Basic Research on the Status of Parent Education and Improvement Plans for Early Childhood Education Institutions in Chungcheongnam-do

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 충청남도 지역 영유아교육기관에서 이루어지는 부모교육의 현황을 분석하고, 효과적 운영을 위한 내실화 방안을제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 문헌분석과 설문조사를 실시하고, 개방형 응답에 대해 텍스트마이닝 기법을 적용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 충청남도 유아교육기관에서는 원장이나 교사가 주도하는 부모교육이 정기적으로 이루어지고 있으며, 학기초 오리엔테이션과 부모-자녀 참여형 프로그램 등이 높은 참여율을 보였다. 반면 외부 전문가 초청 강의에는 학부모 참여가 상대적으로 저조하였다. 둘째, 부모교육 운영의 어려움으로는 예산 및 전문인력 부족, 시간대 확보의 어려움 등이 지적되었다. 셋째, 텍스트마이닝을 통한 단어출현 빈도와 연관성 분석 결과, “지원”, “프로그램”, “참여”, “시간”, “아버지”, “온라인” 등의 키워드가 부모교육 내실화를 위한 주요 주제어로 도출되었다. 이에 지역 단위 부모교육 정책 수립의 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 제언으로, 부모교육의 질적 향상과 참여 제고를 위한 재정 지원 확대, 프로그램 다양화, 운영 시간 탄력성 확보, 아버지 대상 프로그램 강화, 온·오프라인 병행 등과 함께 지역 부모교육센터 신설을 제언하였다.

This study analyzes the current status of parent education in early childhood education institutions in the Chungcheongnam-doprovince of South Korea and proposes strategies to enhance its effective implementation. To achieve this, a literature review and asurvey were conducted, and text mining techniques, including word frequency and co-occurrence analysis, were applied to the survey’s open-ended responses. The results indicated that parent education programs were routinely implemented in these institutions,typically led by institutional directors or teachers. Orientation sessions at the beginning of each semester and parent-child participatory programs achieved the highest parental attendance rates, whereas lectures by invited external experts saw relatively low participation. The survey further identified key challenges in operating parent education programs, including limited budgets, a shortageof specialized personnel, and difficulties in scheduling sessions at times convenient for parents. Text mining analysis revealed thatkeywords such as “support,” “program,” “participation,” “time,” “father,” and “online” were frequently mentioned, suggesting these as major themes for improving parent education. In response to these findings, the study recommends several measures to inform local parent education policy development: increasing financial support to improve program quality and parental participation; diversifying program offerings; ensuring more flexible scheduling options; strengthening father-focused programs; integrating online andoffline program delivery; and establishing a regional parent education center. These recommendations provide foundational insightsfor enhancing the quality of parent education programs and guiding the development of regional parent education policy initiatives.
