PBL 기반 무용수업에 참여한 예비 체육교사의 학습 경험에 관한 질적 연구 = A Qualitative Study on Pre service Physical Education Teachers’ Learning Experiences in a PBL Based Dance Education Course

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 예비 체육교사를 대상으로 PBL(Problem-Based Learning) 기반 무용수업이 학습자에게 미치는 교육적 의미를 질적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 A대학교 체육교육과 전공생 24명을 대상으로 수업 종료 직후 7개의 개방형 서술형 문항을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 귀납적 내용분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자들은 수업 전반에 걸쳐 자기주도성의 강화, 표현력과 창의성의 확대, 협업과 의사소통의 확장, 성찰을 통한 정서적 성장, 디지털 리터러시의 경험과 확장이라는 다차원적 교육 효과를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 무용이라는 표현 중심 활동과 PBL 구조의 융합은 예비체육교사로 하여금 실천적 수업 설계 역량, 창의적 문제 해결력, 교육적 정체성 형성에 실질적으로 기여함을 확인할 수 있었다. 학습자들은 단순한 기능 습득을 넘어서, 실제 교사로서 수업을 기획하고 실행하는 경험을 통해 교육의 주체로 성장하였다. 본 연구는 체육교육 내 표현활동 단원의 교수학습 설계 및 예비 체육교사 양성 교육과정 개발에 실천적 시사점을 제공한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This qualitative study explored the educational implications of a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Dance Education Course for pre service physical education teachers. A total of 24 undergraduate students majoring in physical education at a university in the Seoul metropolitan area participated in the study. Data were collected immediately after the course through seven open ended, written response questions and analyzed using inductive content analysis. The results revealed five major educational outcomes: enhancement of self directed learning, expansion of expressive and creative competencies, development of collaboration and communication skills, emotional growth through reflective practice and the broadening of digital literacy. The integration of dance a performance centered activity and the PBL approach provided participants with meaningful experiences in lesson planning, creative problem solving and identity formation as future educators. These experiences enabled students to move beyond technical skill acquisition and begin to develop as autonomous and reflective practitioners capable of designing and implementing their own lessons. The study offers practical implications for curriculum development in physical education, particularly in the teaching and learning of expressive activities and the professional preparation of pre service teachers.
